laundry hell

After getting sick of scrounging clean clothes, I took a couple of garbage bags full of crusty dirty clothes to one of the newer laundromats in the area. For some weird reason all the annoyingly cute college kids decided to hit the tanning beds at the laundromat. Besides getting funny looks for not dressing up to go to the laundromat like they did, I also got some gawks for not having my tan started. Besides having a realistic fear of cancer since it runs in every direction in my family, I just don't have any interest the whole tanning trend. It seems to go in cycles. It seems like a waste of money to me, but I might just think that because I can get the look of sunburn for real and for free. I think I'll just go to one of the non-tanning bed laundromats next time so I don't have to worry about being underdressed again. I prefer to wash my clothes where there are other people who flipped a coin to determine which clothes they weren't going to wear soon, and thus wore filthy to the laundromat.

That is why I always go to the laundromat naked, except for my fedora and a pair of shoes. That really messes with them because then it is the matter of the tan, the fact that I'm naked, or the awesome hat I have on. They go into overload and thier heads explode.

But more seriously screw anyone that tries to look down on you. I always save crappy clothes that I never wear for when I have to do laundry, I was unaware that anyone didn't do that.
