Try using the mirror next time, genius!

Soooo for the first time in weeks I escaped work right at 3:30. The front parking lot where I work is fucking crazy right at 3:30 so it usually takes a few minutes to deem it safe to even drive off the parking spot and towards the street. Well, as I'm getting close to the end of the lot, this big-ass pickup truck starts backing up towards me. I'm thinking I'm right behind it...this person is going to look in the mirror and see I'm right behind her moving and stuff. NOOOOOOOO...as if in slow mo this lady keeps backing up and I was shocked that she could be so fucking dumb to not even look in her mirror before backing up her hugenormous jacked-up truck with extra gigantor tires.

I was thinking the whole time,"bitch..there is no way you're fucking hitting me right before I pay this car off..& of course...'holy shit where will the truck's hitch & bumper hit if this lady backs into me?" Odds were agains me in my little Kia, right? I jammed my car into reverse and gassed it backwards. Then I hit my horn and the lady FINALLY noticed me in her rearview mirror. Of course she then got to pull out of the lot before me since she pretty much forced her own right-of-way.

So when did people become too fucking lazy to check their rearview mirrors before backing up? This woman could have backed into somebody walking to their car, for fucksakes...

I'm going to have a hard time fighting the temptation to seek out this woman and bitch-slap her tomorrow at work. She was actually parked near the city bus stop too, so she really should have exercised the common sense and been more careful.

Sorry this was a lengthy story, but I can't believe how thoughtless and dumb people can be some days...

"Common sense is not so common"

Voltaire

I do have to say this though in the person's defense we all have our bad moments. Perhaps the person was having a stressful day and her mind wandered off into space about an argument or something. Who knows fortunately nothing went wrong and your car remains in one piece thats what matters.

The scary part is, I heard afterwards she has been in several near-accidents in the parking lot. I think she should at least be required to sit on her horn or something to warn people that she is going to back out into the parking lot aisleway without glancing in the mirror or considering the fact there are other people in the lot.

I'm glad the worst that happened was a little hypertension.

This has happened to me a few times as a pedestrian, and I've been hit twice. Last time this happened, the bitch still didn't notice she'd hit in her SUV, so I was holding on to her bumper to keep from being run over.

She stopped to put it in drive, and I got up with an almost super-human rage, and put my fist through her rear window.

She drove off and I got her plate number. I called the cops about it, and I became suspect because she had reported some "maniac" had attacked her car for no reason.

I think some of these people who own huge-ass vehicles think that they are above even acknowledging that there are other people out there. It's total bullshit. They should have to be required to take a safety driving test before they are allowed to maneuver a ship or something.

Yep assholes all around us..was she talking on her cell phone? They seem to be the fuckwits that cause most accidents. Yesterday going to the parking lot to my car at the end of the day, you have to cross the main street to get to the lot...some dumb ass bitch gabbing on her phone not paying attention to her driving went half way through the light before she noticed it was red then she slams on her brakes and backs up lol...two of us were waiting to cross the street and when she backed up I said right to her get off the phone bitch and pay attention to what you are doing which is driving. I cannot stand to see people talking on the phone while driving if I had my way they would all have their tongues cut out. Ok rant over...glad you are okay and the fuckwit did not hit you. Hugs, Jazz

Yes, I always end up stuck behind some cellphone chatter who drives like a drunk. I hope they actually outlaw driving and talking on phones in PA soon. Not that it will stop people from doing it. but they might be more careful when they are then.
