Not trying tooo hard...

As of recently, I've realized that I'm really not that concerned about finding sex on this site.

As strange as it seems, for the first time ever, my profile is ALMOST accurate. It clearly states that I'm not trying to meet anyone right now. This doesn't matter to most guys in my area. I do believe my autoreply is getting turned on. There are a few people I'd like to meet at some point...when I get around to it.

Also, I've found that I become less annoyed when I don't spend a lot of time on the advice lines. I think I know why there aren't many serious questions posted anymore. A woman tried to get actual advice yesterday and a bunch of people acted like dicks just because her spelling/grammar/what not was not up to their Oxford standards. Sheesh...how helpful was it that people belittled her? Maybe a lot of people don't feel comfortable posting questions anymore. I know some of her posts were hard to understand, but there was just too much disrepect yesterday. Unlike dude with the fake questions or idiots stating the obvious, a person had a valid question.

Next time I post a question on advice lines I'll make sure to misspell every fucking word of it just to piss off the snotty people. And I actually took editing classes in college, so I know how to butcher a paragraph.

I agree with you. There are some very interesting people on this website that chose to make themselves feel better through the belittling of others. I guess that it is all an ego thing to make someone who is down feel worse because they can. I am glad to hear your comments and praise you for this blog.

I think I have been guilty of bringing someone down due to spelling never grammar. Regardless the adlines are in a sad state these days with said multiprofiler spewing nonsense and the utter lack of intelligible questions. I browse and post a few responses not much though lately spending alot more time in the blogs.

I don't think there's necessarily anything wrong with suggesting that members check their spelling, but it pisses me off when the responders on advice lines decide to all gang up on a person. That's what I saw the other day.

Some people just can't spell though. I know some days by the time I log onto AdultFriendFinder I've already been tap-tapping on a keyboard all day at work, so I start to type dyslexically and transpose letters and whatnot. If I think it's legible enough to read I let it stand, but if someone made fun of it on here I'm not really sure If I would really care.

The adlines thing irritated me a little more than usual because the woman who posted it emailed me after I responded to one of her questions. She was trying to erase her questions, and I can't really say I blame her because most of the responses were nothing but insults; they weren't relevant to what she asked at all. I guess I'd rather see real questions misspelled than some of the other lame shit that has been treated more respectfully by the people that have been hanging out on there all the time.
