Stucco is interesting stuff.

The walls of the house I am rebuilding are full of cracks, holes, and very uneven.

But, after several coats of stucco, the walls look wonderful.

Got to thinking...wouldn't it be neat of we could stucco over our lives. Fix all the cracks. Get rid of the holes....

Stucco works best when the inner structure is strong...

Absolutely true.
The house is built on a rock foundation, walls are 2 feet thick...been there 100+ years.

We need the holes and the cracks. They are what makes us stronger and wiser as the years go by. And they really don't show all that much.

I find younger women strangely unattractive because they don't have the scars and wrinkles of experience...sort of like plastic dolls....

It would be nice to stucco over some of the cracks....yes it would.

The problem is getting the stuff to stick.

Some of the cracks are really resistent to being covered up.
