Its a great day to be alive! lol. Isn't it a wonderful feeling to wake up in the morning and realize, Hey, its going to be a great day! No matter what the weather is, no matter if you didn't get enough sleep.

Well, thats exactly the first thing that I thought when I awoke this morning. I slept good and got 8 hrs in. Yep, you heard right. 8, count 'em 8 hours! Yipppeeeee!!!! lol. I just feel as if today is going to be great.

I got up this morning, was just laying in bed thinking for a few when suddenly thought, hmmmm...I'm going to try on some clothes in my closet. I know, I know, women! lol. Anyways, I can guarantee most women have some sort of shirt, favorite old t-shirt or shorts, or pants/jeans that they can no longer wear. I, being a woman, which by the way amazes me that I now call myself a woman *totally different blog entry*, do have such. I'm not going to tell you exactly what it is, but suffice it to say that the clothing "item" is several sizes smaller than the clothing I had been wearing the last 2 years. Guess what, it fit! Wooohoooooo!!!! lol. Yeaaaaaaaa!!! *does a little dance*

So, I'm wondering if men have the same tendency as most females of hanging onto an item that no longer fits, but keep to see "what if"? If so, whats the item? Now now guys, a woman's panties is not what I'm referring to! Except of course they were the first ones that you wore!

First, great news on the good night sleep. I keep staying up late. Going through a phase I guess.

I have pants that I keep around. Some are just on the edge of not fitting. Sometimes they do. Others should really go to charity. A lot already have.
I have various shirts that I keep and don't wear. But not because they don't fit. They were gifts and I don't really like them. Sometimes I change my mind. Some are just not stylish. At least today they aren't. lol.
Yes, I need to clean things out.

Easy...well ty ty. lol. Now, I'm almost 28, surely they aren't as old as me! I take it that the shoes must be extremely special to you. I think its usual for guys to keep their letter jackets as well. Mainly to pull out years down the road and regale their children with tales from their glory...this and that. why do you have new clothes that you haven't worn yet? Although I do have the same in my closet. Usually for me its b/c I like it in the store and when I get it home, I don't. lol. I eventually will take it back. Now I don't quite understand the concept of men wanting to keep them either or women wanting to give them to the men. Do the men wash them? Do the men put them in ziploc bags to keep 'em fresh? Ewwwww! lol.

Yes, I hang onto clothing in the hopes that I will drop enough weight and inches to wear them again!

SpaceRanger...yep, I understand the like it one day, not the next. My family and friends have learned not to buy me clothes unless I pick them out due to the fact that I never wear them, or I exchange them. lol. Its the thought that counts, right???

Tiger...see, women are not alone on the hoarding of old clothes!

pretty, i have old dress shirts from my grand father that he wore before he passed away. yes, i do wear them. but i have probably 15 pairs of jeans, over half of them are too small. yet this month alone none of my jeans fit now unless i wear a belt. and even then they like to slide down. i've lost 20 pounds so far. no i'm not going to buy new pants just because i might gain that 20 pounds back in a week.
