The Perfect Weekend...(him)

Okay...we're back from our weekend in Maine...we're both beat from a long (but quick) drive on the hottest day of the year, thus far..!

I'll let my lovely (and coughing, congested, exhausted, but happy) wife, Mrs. Prag, elaborate on the details...but suffice to say, we had an absolutely perfect weekend together in southern Maine.

At breakfast, this morning...I asked my love if she had a good time...if there was anything else that could've made it better, or anything that we did...that she wished we didn't do.

We certainly couldn't control the weather or traffic on the way up there, Friday afternoon, into evening.....(we got and sound, even if it took an hour and a half longer than usual)

The breakfast we had just ordered was a sort of "consolation" breakfast...we couldn't control the fact that our favorite restaurant is only open Thursdays through Sundays.....(sure, it's a Holiday...but when you own your own successful business...YOU get to make all the rules)

There certainly wasn't anything that could have been done with regard to her cold or her wearing "Dracula's Teabag".....(neither of which put a damper on ANYTHING..!)

And those were the only things that she wished, could have been altered.

As I said...I'll let her elaborate on the was, after all...HER birthday weekend.

As for me.....was I happy this weekend....did I have a good time..?

Those of you who know us...already know the answer to those questions.

For those of you that don't...or may not know us as well...let me just say that being with the love of my life...every precious moment...anywhere or nowhere...just being together.....brings total fulfillment to my life that the mere definition of happiness fails to do justice to. truly was a PERFECT weekend..!

Thanks, Mac..! {=}

All of the cliche' adjectives and one-liners really don't accurately express the feeling of love we hold for each other.

How does one express the inner feelings they have, when mere words aren't enough to do it justice..?

The Eagles once did a song that had some words in the chorus of it that came pretty close to describing it....

'cause I gotta peaceful easy feeling
and I know you won't let me down
'cause I'm already standing on the ground

Thank you, Cin..! {=}

The very first time we went to the movies together, it was to see "The Mothman Prophecies."

Even though it will always rank as my
NUMBER 1 KERSHTINKER movie of all times...I was with my love...and future-to-be-Mrs.

Call me dumb....but it took me awhile to get the "Dracula's teabag" thing! You two are great together....and I hope you know how blessed you are. Glad to hear you made it home safe and sound....and that you had a good weekend together.

Such lovely and kind words, angel..! Thank you so much. {=}

Even Mrs. Prag had never heard of that expression, when I first used it...but she laughed so hard when she got it that she had tears in her eyes..!

Sounds like you both had a great weekend. Now it is back to the work week. And for some reason it will be a long week. Always long when you have Monday off.
