Mrs. Prag Done In By A Pickle

As if I don't have enough problem this just keeps getting better and better.

During my second cup of coffee yesterday...I developed heartburn. It didn't start off too bad. A little burping...little burning...nothing horrible. We have all have gotten it from time to time. No big deal.

After blogging I tried to get myself out of my deep depression and the feeling of boredom...I hung curtains..cleaned the bathroom and did some laundry.

Well, by the time I finished....I truly thought I was dying. From the inside chest and throat was on fire. I called the local pharmacy to see if I could takes a few Tums along with my current medication. I could. I did. It made no difference.

Shortly after Mr. Prag came home I went to bed. Unfortunately, I couldn't get much rest. The burning and burping just grew worse and worse. I made dinner and forced myself to partake in it. Mr. Prag said the mashed potatoes would help me. He was wrong. I washed the dishes and returned to the bed. I laid there till almost 8pm.

Mr. Prag told me what did me in. A stinking pickle that I eat the day before. He read me the riot act about what foods I can eat and what kinds of foods I can't. "You eat a pickle on an empty stomach. You can't eat spicy, gassy or greasy foods anymore. You'll learn!!" "I know...I know...", I moaned. Nope. No sympathy for Mrs. Prag...I did it to myself...with a pickle!

For two hours I proceeded to sit in my recliner slowly sipping hot tea, that I made, while watching CSI and ER. Burping, moaning and beginning to think that my family needed to call a priest.

This morning, I was terrified to consume anything for fear that the pains would return. Mr. Prag being his humorous self, suggested that I have a pickle today for breakfast. He wasn't referring to HIS pickle either!!

Who knew something so small...could cause so much misery?

Love you cucumbers in luck and it would have some kind of sprayed fertilizer on it that would do me in. I'll stick to the real thing or my i-Vibe..!
