It

I'm just chillin out...
I’ve been working in my yard most of the day. Got the grass cut...Damn! Sometimes it sucks to have a big yard....especially when it is ‘Hot as Hades’ out...but, I would never trade ‘it’ for a concrete courtyard I edged the walkway {sidewalk} and along the driveway...probably should have worn long pants...now I have little nicks and cuts on my shins...I did wear glasses...always do}gotta protect those peepers Hosed off the porch, walkway and the driveway...still have piles of debris that I need to clean-up at the end of the drive...but have to wait for it to dry out a bit...Oh, yeah did the weed wacker thing too...weeded some of my garden...still have about half left to do It can wait...it’s time to take a break

It’s ‘Miller Time’ No! I don’t really drink Miller...but it sounded good I am drinking a brew though...This is my last night off {I start afternoon shift tomorrow}...So here I am...chillin out...sitting in my backyard....my own little ‘oasis’ in this hectic world we live in! God I love it out here...The temperature has cooled down...I can hear the gurgle of the water fountain...every once in awhile, there is a gentle breeze and the chimes go...tinkle, tinkly, tinkle...it is such a soothing sound. You can still hear a few birds singing out...but the main orchestra is composed of crickets. I just watered my flower beds and you can smell the rich, pungent smell of ‘mother earth’ {with a great deal of help...not much can grow in this Georgia ‘clay’ otherwise} The sweet smell of honeysuckle...wafting on the breeze There was a tree frog checkin things out...how strange the spot he found ...he was chillin...on my door knob {I wish... I had... had my canera}...I did get a couple of him/her glued to my window...There’s a lizard...must be taken a break...it’s chillin in the vines {been there for a couple of hours now...and hasn’t moved}... I love this...it is OhSopeaceful...what a way to end the day...Well I can think of one more thing that could make ‘it’ OhSoMOrepleasurable...but I only have my OhSolustful dreams

I hope all you OhSospecial friends ‘out there’ have had a Mowonderful day

Things are coming alive in Georgia! You're further along than we are in southeast Missouri. Haven't heard crickets or seen frogs yet! It dropped into the 40's last night and has been rainy for a couple days now!

I love to sit on the patio after the lawn has been mowed and smell fresh cut grass and the spring air! Only thing better is sitting in a boat on a fishing lake about an hour before sundown or standing on a green taking in the sites of the golf course as your buddies finish up their putts!

what is it about cut grass that makes everyone feel closer to momma nature? Is there a connection to that smell? (the same goes for ozone after a thunderstorm).

I have become a godfather to two little baby birds that I have watched since hatching. Very interesting to learn the habits of this free creatures as they go from egg to young adult hood. I have realized that humans can learn a lot about nuturing from watching birds.

It's time to put some fresh water in the bird baths.......

Tig{=}The crickets still aren't out in full force...but you can still hear them...I was rather surprised to see a tree frog on my doorknob...the only other frog I've seen so far was a 'big ol' warty one' in my shade garden...I love to sit out in my backyard...it is so peaceful...though in a few months the only time I will really be able to hang-out {in my backyard} will be early mornings or late at night...otherwise it will be to blasted hot!! Oh! By the way, I love to fish too...have my own gear and even put my own bait on the hook

Kisses...OhSo{=}

closer{=}It's like a fresh clean scent...it's hard to explain! You can even smell when a storm is coming...the air is so clean...so fresh...yeah, I know that sounds weird, but it is true. I even love the smell after I have watered my house plants...earthy would be the best way I would describe the scent.
I actually think I had a baby bird...who was taking flying lessons today bounce off my window...when I looked outside there where two birds sitting on my fence...and a smaller bird...kinda hugging the ground...moving in little leaps and bounds.
And 'Yes' I agree some people could use 'lessons' on nurturing...

Ohso, I think I would rather be down on my knees tending to your lil OHSOdelectable garden. We could be like lil rabbits together, hopping around, enjoying our OHSOamorous moments in the sun. UMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, we could share the fruits of both our gardens together, sounds like an OHSOdelicious meal to me, and OHSOfulfilling too
