Freedom of Expression

I was motivated by the most recent post of Ethicalplayer as he too tries to find balance between is personal life and professional life.

My friend and I dropped into an upscale, adult novelty shop in Olympia yesterday, while on a window shopping expedition. I was watching the gals that worked there and wondered what they were like. I am not talking about sexually, I was wondering if they were soccer moms in the real world. I kind of doubt it, but let's face it; this world is full of people who have to put on a second face to fit their surroundings, especially when it comes to the world of work..

I come from a fairly conservative world I admit. If you think I am bad now, you should have seen me five years ago. Now, I am the supervisor of 15, 20 and 30-somethings that get paid to work and live together for six months at a time. It is a college atmosphere with money. As a supervisor though, I have to remain professional and aloof! You folks get to hear what small dirty side that I have.

Before that, I was an elementary teacher for sixteen years in a small community in rural Oregon; the ultimate magnifying glass position. I loved returning to Eugene, have a few drinks, cuss, swear and air sexual innuendos like a sailor!

I swear that "Eyes" thinks I am one of the most conservative people that she has ever met, but what a joy it has been to have a companion that won't be ashamed to tell it like it is. She herself has quite a life when she is on life's stage!

It occurred to me while at that novelty store even those gals probably have two lives just like all of us wading through this world of different responsibilities and opportunities!

I think some people I know in life would be shocked by my other side as well, but I also know that much of it shows in everyday life!! And you're not sounding to conservative to me these days.........

Like I said, this less than conservative part of my life is a frustratingly small part! Only you folks on AdultFriendFinder know about it (and a selecet few others).
