A clarification on my advice line question.......

A couple of days ago, I posted a question on the advice line about some of the profiles I had read that stated that men need not try to contact.

I thought I was clear in what I was asking; namely, that there were some men out there that were screwing women over bad enough that these women were turning away from men.

I was NOT slamming lesbians, bi-sexual women, or bi-curious women. Matter of fact, a good lesbian friend from about 20 years ago was the lady who helped me improve my oral technique for pleasing a lady.

All of the responses were excellent; however, there were a couple of comments that caught my eye that I thought needed addressing:

1. A lot of the responders were thinking since the ladies said no men, I was heartbroken. It just caught my attention the number of women saying they only wanted women because men had screwed them over. My heart cannot be broken ever again...too much scar material.

2. One responder said not to try and save the fairer sex. Far from it; the worst asswhipping I ever got in my life was when I saw a 6'2" guy roughing up a 5'1" girl. I stepped in and she hit me from behind with a beer bottle. Four stitches taught me that lesson.

3. One guy ended his response with the line "Life is rough, wear a helment!"

Let's see, my friend, I have been in many fistfights, been hit with pool cues, baseball bats, been shot, stabbed. I broke my neck and had my heart stop for 90 seconds. I already know life's a contact sport, but thanks for the reminder.

Please understand, my friends, I do not feel sorry for myself. If any of you have read D. H. Lawrence or if you've seen the movie GI Jane, you'll know the following line.

A wild thing never feels self pity.
A sparrow will fall frozen from a tree without ever having felt sorry for itself.

I know I've mangled that line, but I hope you get the gist of what I'm trying to say.
