“Copy from one, its plagiarism; copy from two, its research.”

--~Wilson Mizner (1876-1933)

This pretty much says it all. To research a paper you must copy information from a million sources then write it in (your own words.) Well, does anyone really have “their own words?”
Shoot, I’ve been using the same ones everyone else has. No matter what you write as far as research, short of going to a tomb and seeing first hand what it is about; you are simply re-referencing what someone else has already written.

There is almost no first hand information. It has been passed down and re-written so many times its not good information anymore. This is why people should read more autobiographies. Get the information from the horse’s mouth. That is the only way you might get a dead honest recollection of events. Why we even write papers on subjects anymore is beyond me. All your really doing is reminding yourself of the past and
writing about it in a less intelligent way than the last person
