The Vampire's Kiss (Poem)

I was thinking of Edgar Allen Poe (one of my favourite writers, have you read "The Raven"?) when I wrote this. Forgive me Edgar, I hope you don't turn over in your grave. I t may not seem to be sexual, but read between the lines and I think you will know where I'm coming from. Enjoy!

The Vampire’s Kiss

Dark..... stark, deathly dark
Lights are out
No one’s about
Stars have lost their spark

Gloom....doom, ghostly gloom
From his tomb
His earthy womb
He comes into my room

Pale... frail, sickly pale
Are his lips
Before he sips
Of my ruby ale

Red.... dread, crimson red
Passion rushes
Blood gushes
On my virgin bed

Black... black, dreadful black
The night’s deep
I cannot sleep
Sun’s gone, won’t be back

Gloom..... doom, ghostly gloom
From my tomb
My earthy womb
I come into your room
