Lil Common Curtisy

I hope this doesn't sound like whining but I think some people need a little bit of manners when it comes to chatting on here. Ok so maybe this is going to sound a little whiny but I know I am not the greatest talker. I tried messaging a few people that I thought were interesting and when they logged in next time, I was blocked fom seeing their profile. I may not be the greatest catch to some people so whatever. I am sure that there are some people on here that I don't find attractive or have a different personality. But if someone messages me, I won't block you. I will respond. It may not be a cheery response, but if I am not interested then I will say so in the politest way possible. I don't know. Blocking like that seems rude. I agree that blocking profiles is necessary for the people who are stalkers. It happens. I don't think I am or have that kind of personality. Anyways, just wondering what people think on the subject.

Cheers

I can't imagine being rude enough to block someone from my profile. I get emails and I try to respond to them the majority of the time. A few have slipped thru the cracks (so to speak) but I tell people politely that I am not interested. I would never block anyone unless, like you said, they went all stalkerish on me.
I hope you have better luck!

Exactly. Even if a person doesn't like the person who emailed profile, at least tell the person so. I think leaving a person guesing is probably worse than telling them no. At least if you tell a person that you don't like them, then they can move on to some one else who might like them.
