dork is putting it mildly. people should understand that it has to be mutual. if you don't click, the other person has to understand that.

That seems to be a norm with some people. They can't getr what they want and that's their way of pouting......I've been turned down and I just figure You just never know what you missed. no need to have a tantrem......Later, Charlie

ROFL - I was met with BITTER, gutwrenching disappointment last week but kept my cool and we parted as friends. Not all of us have our ego's and emotions in check. It can be VERY difficult going for a man on this site though, so I can understand where he may be coming from.

But you're post here only shows, to me anyway, that you are no better than he.

At least you had the "balls" to tell him that he wasn't what you were

you can be grateful, however, for they immediately prove you right

I think you are in the right. It is his problem that he can't understand and if I were you I wouldn't let him bother you. You are better than that. It seems that he is probably a lonly old man that can't get a lady if his life depended on it.

Some People just can't stand to be upstaged....they think that " THEY " are the ones for everyone...Well...They need to " CHILL "..and get a Perspective of what is going on around them...like the old saying goes....Don't burn any Bridges that you Cross...'cause sooner or later you are the one that will have to " Cross " it and then you are up Shit-Creek with out a paddle...others just don't seem to give a Crap...take care & have a great day ...

I think you have attribute that kind of response to someone who:
a] just had a very bad day;
b] is a very frustrated individual; or
c] is obtuse and just doesn't get it that you saved them time and frustration trying to persue something which was not going to turn out the way they wanted no matter how much they hoped it would.
It's a shame that there are some like that.

Waaa ... Waaa ... Waaa ... Why would anyone on this site take ANYTHING seriously? You don't even know who the person really is, so how could anyone feel rejected? If I get a 'NO' ... BFD. There are SO MANY other people that I will click & have great fun with ... I just say...'NEXT'!

Well at least you responded. I hate when you send something and you dont at least get a simple sorry not interested. Makes life so simple. Not that its so important.

Ah, if someone has invested a lot in You then it's gonna damn-well hurt no matter how nice You are about it!!
Happened to me a few months back, I'd been as up-front as poss about my intentions...but the lady was hurt anyway.
Which is a pity cos we'd become quite good friends & that can't continue cos it's too painful for her to see me...

Usually I don't have that problem. I just tell them if they have something or someone else to do then just let me know. The only time I've ever been upset about it is when they lied to me. I just laughed when a woman I was dating said she had to go after a phone call from her mom.(with a mans voice...lol) I shut the door and turned off the light before she could get off the porch. It wasn't the fact that she lied it was just the fact she thought that I was stupid enough to believe her. I would probably still be seeing her if se had just told me the truth.

I agree with remainnamelss, it's when they lie about not talking or seeing anyone or saying when do I have time to or your always here. My response was if you want it or want to you will find away to make the time. I've been there and done it all years ago. I think right from the start anyone should say that if there still looking or talking to others that they do have friends and still date others, at least the other person then know's and has the option of either still being friends or to forgot about it, let it be know and then it's up to them, then they can't say a thing about it later. I have been with someone from here for over 7 months, and now she told me to F.O. back to her old ways, fuck whoever and whenever. Later ready for the next piease of ass.

My outlook is in agreement with you wildsyde, but I did have had one experience where woman was trying to say there wasn't a connection with me but she did it in such a way I was compelled to put her in her place... It wasn't the fact she was not wanting to see me anymore but but in the way she was delivering the message... She felt that she was all that and a bag of chips and was in some ways belittleling me to make herself feel better... Being older than me and with a nasty gray streaked frizzy hairdo that made her look like Lilly Muenster or Pepe' Lepew I decided to let her have my two cents in return... The first date was a very nice luncheon and I thought we had common ground for a second date, and it wasn't until the end of the second date that she started puting me down.... The only thing I could figure was she was bipolar because the woman I picked up was not the same woman who sat on my curb in the snow waiting for the cab I called for her to show up...

The thing the gripes my ass the most is those that have profiles and seldom if never respond to their emails... Granted women get so much more than us men, I suppose it can be overwhelming... But if you need or want time to go thru the emails you got or want time to explore things with a possible match at least post it in your profile... And if someone takes the time to write at least give them some sort of reply even if it's no thanks and good luck in your search.... hope my response helps you and anyone else to view both sides of the online dating coin...
