Distracted Thoughts of Anal'yzation

I look to the Fox River
to see the mood of the day
I look to the sky to see his...
I get on my knees and pray

That's where his first kiss
descended down to me carried on the moon
Warming the Spring
Into the month of June

The stars are out, are they still in your eyes?
I hear the rhythm of nights jazz, blanketing my cries

My heart feels another day has died
Is that why it rains??

For I saw the flames yestreday; burning in the clouds
shades not red but of blue

the sky was filled with lightning on the way home to
showing me flashes of the road I was traveling
glimpses of truth

I remembered the thunder in the song
I remembered the rain as well
but, what of the lightning..?

what of the lightning.?.

My eyes fell to the Earth below my feet
in a flash, I crawled in deep inside of me,
for protection from a strike as if it were a hand
and remembered..
the volcanic faults beneath my feet..
lifting one up I wonder

Is he the Earth to me?

"Wait a minute baby.. Stay with me awhile.. Said you'd give me life.. but you never told me there'd be fire.."

I can't wait to meet the sea...

one fun journey.. mysteriesofme
