State of the Union or Same ole BS?

Watching the state of the union address last night, I was struck by just how insincere the president appears. With his rehashed message on the "War on Terror" and giving lip service to having a commitment to building the country's infrastructure amidst huge tax cuts--how the hell can I believe a word? Our federal deficit is more akin to a third world country's than a "superpower". Where are the billions he'll need for his initiatives going to come from, especially if he gets his precious tax cuts???

I'm not an economist, but the numbers don't add up...

The speeck last night was no surprise, just more of the same. The President doesn't need the numbers to add up; his base of brainwashed supporters will be behind him no matter where he leads them.

I liked Rutherford B. Hayes better. I liked Millard Fillmore better. I liked Martin Sheen better (on 'The West Wing' but not 'The Dead Zone').

Its a toss-up between W and Martin Sheen in "The Dead Zone".
