A prayer

As i pray on bended knee,
asking for guidance,
for a way,
Show me the right path O Ma Kali,
Show me the way,

Release me of this karmic past,
protect me from the insincere ones,
show me the way,
to eliminate hate,
to cast away my ills,

Show the the way O Mother Goddess,
Divine and supreme,
you sit on gilded throne,
offer me this boon to thee i pray,

Set me pure,
set me sacred,
set me in the right domain,
purify me, cleanse me,
for in my inner form i am but thy child,

Lost as i then was,
help me to see the light again,
for in my heart no evil lies,
only abuse cast upon my naked form,

To thee O Mother,
Spritual and kind,
Wise and knowing,
You have seen it all,
You let me stray,
to learn it all,
Now i am ready,
So show me the way

Many have hurt me,
As you know O Mother,
Take me away,
Show me the way,
The right path upon which i seek

Give me the bliss,
Of love of joy,
Of pure respect for my body,
Of integrity,
For in respecting my body will others be able to respect me,

Show me the way,
Set me upon the right path,
banish the ills,
henceforth let me whole again.

Oh My Mother,
to you I pray,
On bended knee,
O humble me O Mother,
Divine and spiritual Ma'Kali

Ohm Ma' Kali
Ohm Shakti
Ohm Shakti
Ohm Shakti

I am a bit emnotional, just prayed in the temple

I am part hindu, part buddist and all Roman Catholic

From a Zen perspective, Freedom is the result, Liberation is the process towards that goal.

When Free, there is no need for prayers.

what a interesting decription of your spiritual beliefs?

it's good to pray, as a sceptic i used to doubt the power of prayer, now.. i dont anymore.

but still, a pure heart and sincere motivation are the best pryaer and protection...

I'm a atheist, but if I was religious, I would probably be Buddhist. But in a way, I am spiritual. Mainly because of my experiences and studies of native american indian beliefs and practices.

DharmicDawn is right. "When Free, there is no need for prayers."

hi. aetheist? u r not one, if u believe in spirituality... ;-p

Buddhism, it's a way of life and philosophy, it's not a religion but more than a religion, in the traditionally, " there's a supreme creator" kind of thing....

yes, when you are free, there's no need for prayer. Free from greed, hate and delusion.
