i need a prayer for my friend

well one, of my good friends from work had surgery this past monday, at the hospital i work at. well anyway i took care of her when she got out of surgery, and all that night she was having a hard time with her blood pressure bottoming out. she was becomming shocky. and now it's thusday, and she is in a toledo hospital in critical condition, on a vent. respitory failure,(ARDS) if i lose her, i don't know what i'll do.....

it just goes to show you how fragile life can actually be.

UPDATE: thank you for all the prayers that you've sent up, thank you so very much..... well i got word that her chest x-ray is better, than previous. she is still in a drug induced coma, to prevent her fighting the vent, they say that she will be on the vent for at least one week. She is on this special bed that tilts, (prevents fluids from building up in the airsacs in her lungs), so she gets better airation. better airation better chances of her lickin this, and comming back to yell at us all!!!! lol, she is a fiesty one. i am going up to see her with a couple of my friends from work on monday. thanks again, keep praying, she is no where out of the woods yet. thank you.

UPDATE #2 things are no better or no worse for my friend, situations are staying status quo.however when it rains it really pours, we just lost two of our best surgical nurses in a car accident on friday night. i didn't know them personally, but the whole hospital personal is in this serious funk right now. boy is she going to be pissed off when she hears about her friends.

UPDATE #3 one of my friends and i went to the hospital to see her, geeze the security in those big town hospitals, STRICT. well we made it up to med. icu and DENIED. they asked us if we were family and we didn't want to lie. and they turned us away. *****NOTE**** this is the only time that you lie, this is the exception to the rule. we should have told them that we were family from out of town. so there is no update since saturday. well no news is good news....i guess?

UPDATE #4 well good news, the vent is out she is breathing on her own, her systemic infection is not an issue anymore. but now the hard part is comming.... the rehab since she has been inactive for 2 plus weeks now she has a long road to haul.

UPDATE #5 well what goes up must come down, she did not do too well without the vent, so now they are talking about putting a hole in her neck so she can breathe(trachostomy) Now i know, if she were totally with it she would not want this. u know what she would say to this, "FUCK OFF and FUCK YOU!!!!!, you put the hole in YOUR neck." i could actually hear her saying that...lol that's what i love about her...lol... she is a fiesty one.she could even make a sailor blush!!! so in two days maximum, that's what they are going to do if she doesent inprove......

keep praying, send them up please!!!

UPDATE # 6: well the vent is out again, and this time she is tolerating it. i guess the threat of the hole in the neck did it...lol. i am going to try again, to get up there to see her, this time being a relative...lol what i'm going to tell them is i am a cousin from south carolina......... that or i'm a long lost love child. lol she would get a kick out of that. "yea the only way i could get into see you, was by telling them, that i was your long lost love child" she would definatly enjoy that

update #7: Well she is home now, she was discharged yesterday, and i want to thank all of you people for all the emails and prayers you have sent up. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

UPDATE #8 i called her yesterday, and this weird voice answered, i said my name, and asked how my friend was doing..... the voice answered back she is doing fine...... YOU DUMBASS...lol THIS IS HER!!! i was like welcome back!!! roflmao.... i had a hard time understanding her, because her voice was raspy from having a tube down her throat for two plus weeks. i was so excited to be actually talking with her... she was telling me all the dreams that she had while she was under. wow pretty vivid. well anyway, i am glad to have her back. she is like a mom to me. and thanks again for all the prayers you have sent up........

she is comming back to work on june 1st!!! i am so excited but that's when i will be going to days so i wont see her... but i am soooo glad she is comming back.

Our father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this ay our daily bread as we forgive our debtors, lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil for thine is the kingdom and the power and glory for ever and ever... amen.

I hope this helps! The Lords prayer... it's saved me a couple of times....

Our father who art in heaven. Hallowed be thy name. Thy kindome come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors, lead us from temptation and deliver us from evil. for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory for ever and ever.... amen.

I don't know if that's the version you use or if its accurate... I guess I need to use it a little more frequently too. It's saved me a couple of times....

Sorry dear...didn't see your request until today. I hope all is well with your friend. I can appreciate what life means. I had a heart attack a couple of years ago (doing fine now) but you quickly realize what life is all about. And appreciate what true friends you really have. If possible, please let me know how she’s doing.
