He who wants to do good, knocks at the gate; he who loves finds the gates open

Love many, trust few but always paddle your own canoe!

I love being alive and will be the best man I possibly can. I will take love wherever I find it and offer it to everyone who will take it. I will seek knowledge from those wiser and teach those who wish to learn from me.

Life is to be fortified by many friendships - to love and be loved is the greatest happiness of existense.

A friend is one who knows us, but loves us anyway.

The greatest thing you ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.

Nothing takes the taste out of peanut butter quite like unrequited love.

Love is not blind -- it simply enables one to see things others fail to see.

Love is, above all, the gift of oneself.

Where there is great love, there are always miracles.

Pure love and suspicion cannot dwell together: at the door where the latter enters, the former makes its exit.

Love is a little blind. When we love someone dearly, we unconsciously overlook many thoughts.

Love enables you to put your deepest feelings and fears in the palm of you partner's hand, knowing they will be handled with care.

Love is not something you feel. It's something you do.

The only love worthy of a name is unconditional.

The greatest happiness in life is the conviction that we are loved- loved for ourselves, or rather, loved in spite of ourselves.

Everybody can be great because anybody can serve. You don't have to have college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.

Smile at each other; smile at your wife, smile at your husband, smile at your children, smile at each other- it doesn't matter who it is- and that will help you to grow up in greater love for each other.

The prerequisite for making love is to like someone enormously

Lovers, like bees, lead a honey-sweet life.
--Graffiti on a wall of Pompeii Let no one who loves be called altogether unhappy; Even love unreturned has its rainbow

Start living now. Stop saving the good china for that special occasion. Stop withholding your love until that special person materializes. Every day you are alive is a special occasion. Every minute, every breath, is a gift from God

Without love, benevolence becomes egotism

Where love rules, there is no will to power and where power predominates, there love is lacking. The one is the shadow of the other.

Love involves a peculiar unfathomable combination of understanding and misunderstanding.

Today I begin to understand what love must be, if it exists. When we are parted, we each feel the lack of the other half of ourselves. We are incomplete like a book in two volumes of which the first has been lost. That is what I imagine love to be: incompleteness in absence.

For true love is inexhaustible; the more you give, the more you have. And if you go to draw at the true fountainhead, the more water you draw, the more abundant is its flow.

When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace.

Love alone is capable of uniting living beings in such a way as to complete and fulfill them, for it alone takes them and joins them by what is deepest in themselves.

You come to love not by finding the perfect person, but by seeing an imperfect person perfectly.

An act of love that fails is just as much a part of the divine life as a act of love that succeeds, for love is measured by fullness, not by reception

It is wrong to think that love comes from long companionship and persevering courtship. Love is the offspring of spiritual affinity and unless that affinity is created in a moment, it will not be created for years or even generations

Miracles occur naturally as expressions of love. The real miracle is the love that inspires them. In this sense everything that comes from love is miracle.

One word frees us of all the weight and pain of life: that word is love.
