Being romantic -- it ain't for everyone!

Now I'm confused for sure. I thought maybe I should look up 'romantic' in the dictionary before I wrote about it.

I'm sure I am a romantic person. I just know I am, but I sure didn't find a definition that I liked for me. So there you go!

Reminds me of a man riding in a cab to the metropolitan museum of art. Cabbie ask him, "What makes great art?". Man replied, "I have no idea, but I'll tell you this; I damm sure know it when I see it."

No matter what it means to you, not too many people are like that. In fact, a lot of people don't want to be like that. Whatever 'that' is to you.

Are men and women much different in terms of being romantic?? I don't think so. I've had some lovers who's reaction was, "What's the point?", and at least one of them was a very good lover.

She made me think of romance in a different way. A way of anticipating and savoring with the mind, the physical pleasures to follow. She was either already there, or could get there quickly, so "What's the point?" was a legitimate question.

I think more men are like that than women. A lot of men are always ready. -- LOL
A lot of you waste time in small talk, and other diversions for yourself, waiting for the woman to get where you already are mentally.

It might surprise you how much fun it can be to help her enjoy the journey, and get there quicker. You might find out being romantic is fun, and enhances your pleasure too!

If only I could find out what 'romantic' means!!
I'll work on that, and let you know how I'm progressing. -- LOL
