OK, so I'm blogging...now what?

Well, it's easy to start out by saying that I have blogged before, so I am not a virgin. However, this will be something new as I have never blogged before about my lifestyle choice. This should be an interesting ride.

A little about me beyond the usual AdultFriendFinder profile: I have been swinging for almost 10 years now, and feel pretty confident that it was the right choice for me. Not everyone can say that. I know of a great number of couples and singles who have turned their lives upside-down by getting involved in the lifestyle. Believe me, it's not easy when you and/or your partner aren't in a truely stable and honest relationship. This lifestyle is not a band-aid or patch, it's a magnifying glass. And it's gonna tear an unstable relationship up faster than Godzilla did Tokyo. You have to be totally open and honest with your partner...in other words: communicate! Hiding things and secrecy will be the death of your relationship. Trust me, I've seen it happen a bunch of times, and it's never pretty.

That being said...I do enjoy all my friends that I have met, and hope to meet many more. I have lived all over the Western United States, and have found lifestyle friends all over that I still communicate with. It's amazing how close I am to some of them. It's not just the sex that I find stimulating, it's the friendships I form with people. The bond, if you will, of being that intimate with someone seals our friendship closer than a lot of my past acquaintances ever have. I love that feeling. There's nothing like it in the world.

Well, since blog entries are supposed to be short, I guess I won't try and write my life story in one post. I'll be back, and we'll see if anyone out there is listening.

Until next time...play hard and play safe!

You write very well, and I will be checking back on your blog. I am somewhat familiar with the "lifestyle" of which you speak and it is an interesting one. Certainly problems will develop in any relationship where honesty and communication is at a minumum.

No. I was single. I got married and quit because of she didn't feel it was for her. We divorced after we realized that we make better friends than husband and wife.

BTW...love the pics of you. Wonderful.
