Contemplation

I dont know why but sundays seem to end up being days that I get philosophical. Where I end up looking at something in my life or out in the world and thinking on it, pondering the matter, comming up with questions, comming up with ideas.
Why is it when you have seven days in a week that you always seem to have one day that you always end up doing things. Like you end up doing laundry on saturday. Now I can understand why most people do household tasks on weekends (its the only time you have to do it). But for me I can sit and think anytime. My work is usualy simple and pretty quick, and I can schelule it around any way I want. My kids are around, but my kids arent any work for me, they are so good that I can sit and think any time I want.
So my work doesnt get in the way. My kids dont stop me. So why dont I sit and reflect on matters more often? It seems like I will hear something sunday morning that just sticks in my brain and wont leave. Its almost like the thought or idea jumps in there and wont leave till I have studied it over and over from every angle my brain can concieve.
Have you ever sat and pondered how a solar system works? I did. About two months ago I was making my bed and the tv was on the history channel and they had a show on about commets. I watched and listened to their comments on the orbit ofg a commet and all the effects. I then sat and the whole day I pondered gravity and how it works. I ended up with more questions than answers and came to the conclussion that gravity was something more complicated than my little mind could comprehend.... I may voice some of my ideas in another blog so you can see how my brain rambles.
I have sat and pondered many subject, come to a few concussions, created amny questions, solved a few problems. The one question I have yet to answer is why does it always seem to be sunday that I sit and ponder these things? Is it my religous backround that my subconsious says "hey, sunday is a day for deeper thoughts"? Is it because I do something different? Is it some solar flare thing?
Can you guess what my brain is stuck on today?
