The tease gene

I've just read a note from a fellow blogger complaining about the number of fakes and teasers on this site and others.

It set me thinking.....

The human genome, (DNA) contains all the information needed to build the cells of the body and organise them into a working person.
A lot of traits are inherited such as looks and sexual ability, drive, size etc.
It's not unreasonable to womder if there is a gene, or a set of genes that make the individual more likely to tease.

Now the next question is:
On what part of the human genome would the tease gene be located? My guess is that it'd be linked to female specific genes or switched on my female hormones.
I think this might be likely because guys don't tease much.....

Forget viagra and other performance enhancing drugs. I'd like to see a drug to switch off/supress the tease gene. Life is too short to waste on teasers

Not all teasing is bad sugar.

It's the tease with a payoff at the end that makes it worth it.

BTW, I don't mean tease as in never shows up for the meet and greet... I mean a tease that shows up and makes you so excited you feel like your going to explode..... that is the tease gene I thought you were talking about

Hmmm BiF33Ut , that's not teasing, thats just a good horny attitude.
The average joe understands a teaser as someone who leads another person on with the promise of relationship and or sex. The teaser will inevitably just giggle and walk away leaving their victim wondering if it was something they said?
A good example is a woman that dirty dances close to guy after guy in a night club. If her victim shows any interest she tells him she's married/attached etc.

mizzkitka Hey I'm generalising...... Sure there are guys who tease but they're in the minority.

I agree that dirty dancing is strictly for long term friends. I'm just venting after witnessing married and attached women dirty dancing (teasing) on a night out. When I know the guys concerned are faithful it seems more than a little unkind to the men concerned.

Hi sweetie,

Penis is a second declention Masculine noun. the plural is penes.

In Latin, it acutally means, *a tail*.

I hate to bicker, but teasing is fundamentally a hostile communication about ambivalence and abuse. Yes I will no I won't.

However, there are some forms of teasing which are acutally enticement, seduction, eroticism.

I believe that everyone is right, as the word has multiple implicative meanings.

There really is no disagreement here....It is a semantic issue.

my best,
