Letter to my former self.....

Hmmm, well I'm lacking inspiration today so here is my take on an idea from TurnLock .
If I could send a letter to myself aged 8 here is what I would say.....

Here are some things to remember for the future.

Ask mum and dad for a PIANO not a violin. You will avoid several years of violin practice his way.

If you still end up with a violin try to be nice to your violin teachers. They are only doing their job.

The following girls are going to be rich (Insert names), get to know them earlier.

Let your sister fight her own battles. She throws a better punch.

Do not bother with science. There is no money in science and the interest will only make you poorer.

Avoid braking too suddenly when you ride your bicycle.

Never mix cider and beer.

Ford gives you more......rust.
So does BMW. Prod the inner wheel arches of a BMW before you spend your money on a second-hand car.

Your first car will be a Mini, start saving for the spare parts now.

One of your school friends is already saving his pocket money for the deposit on his first house. Yes that is sad isn't it. But in 2006 it will seem like a very good idea. Trust me.

Don't ever give up searching for the fun in life.

Lmao. This is funny. And something you wish were possible. I'd love to go back to my 15 yo self and say, hey, you're not really that fat and you're pretty attractive too....so keep yourself this way and don't stress so much about being smaller just be happy.

hmmm what would I tell myself? Age 10:

Stay away from (insert name). He is a bad man that will do bad things to you even before you turn 11. Don't mind your mom and nana telling you you're being rude. He will scar you for life.

Ana_6973 hmmmm I guess a lot of folk would do something similar.

spunky11961 Like i say, this idea comes from TurnLock, author of another fine blog.

cuteNEway Oh dear, my heart goes out to you on this one. I'd have a few people I'd have on an "Ignore at all costs list"

Don't ever give up searching for the fun in life.
