Cats on the run.....

Well it's thursday evening, both Jessie and Lisa were still missing.
My parents let them out and they vanished early wednesday morning.
Perhaps they have got lost, perhaps they have simply run-away from a good home. More likely something worse.
It's all a bit depressing and worrying.
When ever I see a poster stuck to a lamppost or something, asking for information about a lost pet I feel a little of their pain.

Don't ever give up searching for the fun in life.

They're probably coming back to you. Or to their old house. You're going to have little kitty stalkers.
But seriously, I wish you luck finding them. Most likely they are just exploring their new territory and will be back when they're done marking everything.

I hope they're not heading home. It's nearly 60 miles
Unfortunately there's nothing I can do about it because my parents now live 2 hrs drive away from me. I hope the cats come home safe too.
PS Thanks for caring

You're welcome. I can completely understand how you feel. If my George were to run away I'd be devastated. He's my baby.

I feel the same way about those lil posters. You are such a sweetie! Those cats are probably just exploring their new surroundings.

Hmmm, mum just told me that today she took a walk down the canal toe path that runs close to my parents' new home. After half a mile or so they found themselves in deep countryside. Lush, green and old world England. In short they found a bit of English countryside that most tourists suspect we have but never see on their coach tours. Chickens, ducks and rabbits were running around in the country cottage gardens that backed onto the canal.
Mum thinks that if the cats have seen this then they're unlikely to come home. They love hunting and eating fresh wild rabbit. I just hope someone doesn't catch them eating pet bunny.
