Should Age Matter?

A co-worker of mine just broke up with her boyfriend and moved out on her own. All of the guys in our office agree that she is a hot little number. She is a red-head about a year out of college with a knockout body. She is put together and has the sexy curves in all the right places.

I told a male co-worker of mine that if she were only about five years older I'd be all about being with her. But, then I thought a bit more about it and should that much of an age difference matter in the end? She is one of the sweetest people I have met and seems to have a good head on her shoulders. She seems more mature than some of the women closer to my age in the office.

Other than her age and her being a co-worker, I honestly cannot think of a reason not to ask her out. I generally don't like to ask a co-worker out unless I know there is a mutual interest there. I have dated/fucked a co-worker in the past, but that just kind of happened and we had been good friends for a couple of years before slipping into that kind of a relationship.

I guess age really should not matter that much as long as the two people are compatible and happy with each other and having lots of fun together then so be it.

yea , sometimes the older/younger thing does not really work because of wind up not having much to talk about or in common.even though the sex can be amazing

Hahaha....I just left the advice lines to check out your profile, (I really like your responses) and was crushed to see I am too old for you! Then I noticed your blog....

Seriously, I think your last paragraph is correct, but I've always said age does not matter IF two people are in love, but I'd never intentionally look too far out of my own age group. It would seem that the age should matter less if it is purely for physical pleasure and temporary, but I actually think I'd be more likely to get involved with a younger guy only if he were willing to get emotionally involved first.

I really don't think a girl that age is too young for you, go for it!

Honestly, I think the main thing is that she is a co-worker. The only time I had a relationship with a co-worker it just kind of happened, I hadn't planned for things to get as serious as they did, but things happen.

The irony of it is I think she may like me just a bit. Just this past week she stole a bag of candy and the mug I put the candy in out of my office. She has been a bit flirty towards me of late. I may have to re-think this after I getted moved into my new apartment here in a few weeks and get myself situated.
