The Evolution of BlogLand

The evolution of BlogLand is sorta like the movies.

In the early days it resembled the opening scene in 2001 A Space Odysey. You know, the cube and the apes? The apes are the infant bloggers and the cube represents the mysteries and possibilities of BLOG

In its Middle Period it recalls Pleasantville. Many bloggers seemed to "find themselves" and color entered BlogLand as our creativity swelled.

BlogLands present condition is reflected in The Life of Brian. Pick any scene at all and there will be some relevence.

Of course there are many movie scenes that could be used. Any other suggestions?

Have to stay with the Phyton thread and go with The Search For The Holy Grail

we are all looking for something i think

i'll be one of the French guys or Sir Lancelot ... i always like the tower scene with naughty Newt

Keith i think you or TDA should be King Arthur

I'm with you and Luke - gotta go with the whole Python theme. Heck, half the pix look like something from Terry Gilliom anyway.

Yeah, I'm still [blog 1hotwahine]

don't know about movies and blogland itself, but certain blogs do bring up certain thoughts relevant..... like when ever I read TDA's blog I think of that TV show THE FALL GUY (Lee Majors as a stuntman who moonlights as a bounty hunter when things get slow in hollywood), only in this case, Lee Majors is replaced by Ace Ventura and Heather Thomas is replaced by Barnie Fife. Instead of being bounty hunters, they're trim wranglers looking for unsuspecting snatch when things get slow at home.....

I saw your comment in the Texan's blog about the nature of what was going on... I'm a Whore, You're a Whore Maybe that will clear things up.

You still haven't answered the question aked by both sj365 and I...can Keith cook?

Keith -

With the apparent recent drama that has cropped between "rival" sides here, I'm thinking "West Side Story" has finally come to Blog Land.

I don't really know any of the parties involved, so I'm not joining the Jets or the Sharks.

I'll be over here minding my own business humming "America".

luke, since I am already King of the Whores * I think that TDA should be King Arthur. Yeah, that's it. TDA is wise and just. Plus he likes boobs-a-lot so he should be in charge of Cum-a-lot. What do you think Sir Luke-a-lot?

No, I didn't see Coffee Goes Creamy CnC. But I am looking forward to the PREQUIL. It is called Keith Tastes Coffee. Completing this trilogy will be the SEQUIL Coffee In The Clouds (and Rain).

That's right wahine. Go with the comedy motif. It is more fun than using drama as a theme.

The Wizard of Oz you say? I never woulda guessed candysoveryverypredictable. And yes, I will follow. Why?
Because, because, because, because, because...

Are they ever successful at it dandth? If it's a comedy, it sounds like it could be patterned after the life of keithcantgetlaid.

I took your advice DT. Thanx for the link.
To answer your Q: keithcancook IF DTcancleanup!

That choice works for me AZguy. Meg Ryan makes my heart beat. Yummy.

That suits me expat, ol pal. Whatever...

Whores, Basements... as long as I am King I can be happy Barbiebunzy. You see, it's all a matter of perspective.

Exactly sj. And thank you for providing that quote!

West Side Story is a great choice DCE. I am enjoying the spectacle actually. It's almost as good as Reality TV.

I'll go along with anything you say my little wildflower.

I hate it when that happens wahine. Just start whistling the theme to The Andy Griffith Show and the offending song will go away. It works for me every time.

They are staring because there is a giant blue spot right between your ears TiT. Welcome to The Venting Blog! I am happy to see that you are navigating freely in BlogLand again. Blog On!

I love you too CHIEF.

* refer to the poem King of the Whores at the end of The Wizard of Blogz

If it has to be Python, then it must be The meaning of Life. The aggressivity of older bloggers on top of charts resembles close the starting scene of the naval assault to the bank of young Yuppies, the wild proliferation of new bloggers reveals that the notes of Every sperm is sacred have reached everyone's heart and now, with the Bloggers convention approaching, there's a chance for envious unknown blogheads to repeat the final scene! So... if you want my advice, don't touch the salmon mousse.

Never argue with an idiot. He brings you down to his level then beats you with experience

Well trav, as someone pointed out in another comment, I usually wait until THURSDAY to respond to my commenters again. I am not a stickler for which month it may be. As long as I do it on Thursdays...
Guess what day it is today?

Can I add you to my little black book also, double E?

Remind me to never bet against you wahine, sweetie.

Monty Python does seem to have a handle on many of our issues don't they Priapeo? As always, it's nice to see you in The Venting Blog once more.
