Blog Evolution

Well my friends, they say that the only true constant is change. And they are right. I began this blog with one thing in mind and it has morphed into something similar, yet wholly other.

It began as nothing more than a tool. I intended to use my blog to present myself in deeper ways than available in a profile. I was a blog virgin up till then. The idea was to direct females who were interested in me to a place where they could safely see what I was about.

Anyway, I posted a few various things not really sure what direction to go, and then it started. I began reliving past experiences through my writing. Things that I had pretty much forgotten until now.

This blog has become so much more of
keithcancook than he ever would have imagined. I am discovering things that I did not know about myself.

I find that I really enjoy writing. I am spending precious free time to do so and that is saying much in my case.

Through reading others blogs regularly I have come to feel a closeness with their authors. I don’t want to get all “touchy feely” , but I cannot help it. I really like you guys.

It is not merely feelings of friendship. The postings have caused me to stop and think. When I comment in them even more of keithcancook emerges. I find myself looking back on my own life through interaction with yours. I am older than many of you and have more years to reminisce upon. It has become a journey down memory lane that I never meant to take.

So The Venting Blog has become a much different animal than was originally conceived. It is keithcancook’s new passion.

Did I say that I was a blog virgin? Well now I am a wanton blog slut!

Hey Keith. I can relate. I started my blog on a whim. Thought it might help a little, give me a place to vent when necessary, but turns out it's kind of fun. Coming up with new stuff can be difficult, but so far I've just stuck with whatever's happening in my life (here and at home). Seems to work most of the time.

I thought it would be a good way to share information and experiences, get others' viewpoints, ask questions, and learn something.

Awwww gee keith.. we like you too.
And yep, I was a blog virgin before I started this one.. I've always liked writing though, and have become almost legendary in some of my circles with my lengthy email responses to the most mundane things. So after I saw this Blog arena set up and began reading some on a regular basis it just was a matter of time before I started my own. I don't know how long I'll keep it up, but it's something I look forward to doing every day now. Writing gives me a chance to really cut loose on some subjects. And I have more fun commenting on everyone elses almost than posting in my own. It's so fun and informative to read all stuff posted by other bloggers like yourself.
