Is the sound track in your head really scripted?

I'm sure that iaf1957 is not unique in this neet little perk of quasi-normalicy, but is the sound track in your head scripted? I read posts that give you the prompts for music to their prose. Is that a Feng Shui of blogging, a balance of music, thoughts, and emotions?

Today I have Neil Young and Pink Floyd running around in my head. Why? Who knows? I surely don't. Even if I pop both CD's in and play "Tonight's the Night" and "Wish you were here" in their entirety, the sound track persists.

Once, Neil was playing "Words" in my head all day one Saturday and then I come to find out he was on SNL. Coincidence, stranger than fiction, or just plain normal everyday bullshit? I'm about to head out to the driving range and find some serenity in my golf swing. I don't think old Neil will be there or for that matter any members of Pink Floyd. So it comes down to there is some back ground music going on in my head and luckily it's good stuff. Thankfully it isn't Weird Al. Sunday morning insanity brought to you by>>iaf1957

Where did this little smiley fucker come from? If I wanted something cute, I would have had a picture of a fluffy fucking bunny not some hydro-cephalic yellow head. WTF! Authors right to rant: Clause # 21 All unwanted hydro-cephalic yellow head insertions will require at least 2 acceptable variations of the word fuck and at least 1 abbreviation of the word fuck. Contracturally, iaf1957 is prohibited from placing nauseatingly cute and over-used hydro-cephalic yellow heads.

Hello iaf1957,

Those music that go on and on in your head is call ear worms...a certain son repeats itself over and over again...I get those at times, hehehehe...
Have fun at the driving range!!! Try not to kill any birds flying low.
I have always been envious of those little smileys but don't know how to use them...I think they are adorable, worries ...won't send them to you for I don't know how...

interesting idea - I'll try to listen and see what I hear - I am not sure I like the idea of "ear worms" - fact - nope - ear worms - yuk - I am thinking outer-limits or twilight zone - I vote for memory recall

I mentioned ear worms at work and my good friend without a pause said "well you need to call those voices in your head something." I always thought the flash backs would have color as well.>>>iaf1957
