Immagration relief act

Immigration relief act.. The Hazleton Mayor has got his self a fight over the passing of this immigration relief act. We have mixed opinions on this because we have not read it and if we do, will we need to have a degree in law to fully understand it? We understand this, if you single out a part of this society and pass laws that conflict with laws that are already in place within our Constitution then there is cause for disagreement. You cannot pass a law as an absolute to rural over the question of illegal immigration, this must be looked at on an individual case basis. There may be many legitimate reasons why these individuals have come to this country under the circumstances that they have. Some may have fled their homes to escape the oppression of a corrupt government, or the oppression of an ever widening economic gap between those that hold all the wealth and a poor peasant that struggles to place his next meal in front of him.Are we saying don't come here unless you can afford to do so legitimately? We don't care if you are all being butchered in an act of genocide! Are we to say to these people tough luck fella, maybe Canada will have you. Will maybe they will, if this country continues down its present course of undermining all efforts of organized labor that is merely pursuing the American dream for the common workingman in this country, there may be a good many of us seeking a better life in Canada. There is a class gap that is getting ever wider in this country and it is time that the working class wakes up and sees it before it is too late. The rich in this country have their own little society and those that they have in their pockets will never really be a part of it no matter how much they bow to there will,as a matter of fact the more you compromise your sense of ethics and honor, the more the rich and powerful will simply own you for the rest of your lives. Only in America will the powerful use the working class against each other to further their own goals. They can destroy anyone that stands up to them and all they need is a good line of bullshit. Anyone or any group of people can be targeted, they will come after you with never used city ordinance that come to light suddenly. You find it hard to find a doctor or dentist that is willing to take on new patients. Your utilities maybe turned off without notice even though prior arrangements have been made to pay an overdue bill. Your trash will be left at the curb when your neighbors are picked up with no problem. Your child's school administrators and a teacher or two, will try to place ridiculous charges on your children with the help of a corrupt law enforcement officer or two, even if you have had a recent parent and teacher conference and you were asked how did you manage to raise such a well behaved child. All of a sudden no one has the time to do a state inspection on your vehicle and you don't seem to be receiving all of your mail. People will make ridiculous statements, talk in circles that sounds like they are questioning your sexuality, your intelagence and your morals. Creating a hostile working environment for you. Only in America! Anyway, It has been refreshing to actually see a politician climb down off the fence and actually choose a side to stand on, well done Mayor. As for the citizens of Hazleton that are concerned that Hazleton might go down in history as the first American Nazi city relax, that honor has already gone to a little shit hole in the Midwest.

The bottom line is before 1929 there were no immigration laws on the books to stop anyone from coming to this country. So all of our ancestors just showed up looking for a better life. A good many shared a great disappointment because they simply traded one set of tyrants for another and that is the reality of it!
