Where is the lad? - he grew old,
where does he go, where does he speak?
He goes and drinks - and drank the
dreams, low, absorbed, and bleak.

Inside his small body - blue
a world is so contained.
He sinks alone in the - sea,
he dies and wins refrained.

His silence's dripping - in the purple,
stardom that many a dawn follow.
The night sky is the - dark
knife that slaughters - hollow

sounds of a steeldrum - shell
a wave that covers, slain.
A song and a slow breeze - of his mind
reluctantly sooth his pain.

This is two poems in one.

Alright... Did I do it?

He drank the dreams,
low, absorbed,
and bleak blue sea
In the purple stardom
that many a dawn follow
The night is the
dark hollow shell
of his mind.

I'm sure I'm not bright enough to absorb all that you want to communicate, but I find the collection of words separated out from the main body interesting when they are put together...

Have a good day.
