The day I knew I'd be okay!

I walked into this psychiatrists office one day, thinking 'yeah he'll help me, just like all the others! No body can help me! My life has been a nightmare so far, and you've only got hell to go!' Well I was early, I was always early, so I sat down to wait. I saw this long writing hanging on the wall, and I began to read. The words just hit me like a ton of bricks, and I became assured that day, that I would be okay! I am reciting from memory, so I may not have it exactly right, but here goes!:

There once was a man named Shu, whose body was strange. His shoulder rose up over his head, his chin rested on his navel, and his neckbone pointed to the sky. By winnowing and sifting grain, he made enough to feed himself. By sewing and taking in laundry, he made enough to to feed ten men! When the government gave free food to the sick, he received three measures, and ten bundles of wood. When the authorities were raising an army, he came and went, without having to hide. Now if a man whose body is strange, can take care of himself, and live to the end of his natural life, how much easier for a man with STRANGE BEHAVIOR! Anonymous

Believe it or not, it makes sense. Life is a lot easier than many of us think. Its mainly what we make of it. The worst complications come when God deals us a bad hand. But even at that, we can still make things work. No matter how bad we thing we have it, theres always someone in worse shape. We all need to take a long look in the mirror....thats where we see what we really are. We're all human, we all think of others, we respect others, we learn so much from others....but we're still ourselves. You'll be fine, baby. Just be who you really are and live life to fit your own needs and desires and there will those of us who are here to help the dreams and desires come true. Its called the "Family of Man", meant for men and women alike. Hope we get to meet and chat one day soon, as you seem like a lady with her head on right. Unlike lots of others. OK?!
