What a day

We went to the hospital at 7:45 this morning and left at 5:30. The good news is that my b-i-l came through the operation in great shape, they feel that they got all the cancer so we are all relieved no end. I'm bushed and will sleep like a baby tonight. Yesterday was a bummer, worried about the operation since he didn't think he was going to make it plus it was the birthday of an ex-friend and I fought all day to keep from sending her flowers, but I made it. Small victory for me.

Now we can get back to near normal, at least for me, maybe a party this week end, I think I'm ready big time.

I'm glad your b-i-l is Ok. There is no stress like having family sick and not being able to do alot for them. Giving them moral support sometimes is the best you can do.

I love reading your blog. Take Care. Sam

Thanks for the comment. We had a lot of prayers going during this time. Hopefully he will make a full recovery even if he has to wear the bag. Which he will on a permanent basis, still it beats the other option.

Yes it is always Great to hear that they got it All! I remember the relief when they gave me the results of the Complete Bone Scan and alll the other scans were Clear, and then the Bi-Op on the Kidney and lymph nodes were also Clear! Yep I know bout the feelings of Relief and a lot of Prayers and Luck that it was caught in time!
Happy for ure Good News!
