My feet are still dancing...

Well, I've finally woken from my slumber... and my feet are still twitching from their work-out last night!!

Mr Hansen and I arrived in the city centre just before 9pm, and popped into the first place we were considering for the night. It's an 80s bar called Reflex, and to say it was deserted would have been an understatement!! We decided we didn't want to appear sad, and thought we'd head off elsewhere.

We landed up in one of our usual haunts along the Waterfront, and as it's a restaurant/bar/disco, it was fairly busy. We danced a bit, we sat down a bit (my back/hip is still a bit on the iffy side , especially with me in high heels) and then at about 11.30pm we decided to head back to Reflex. Of course, by this time it was packed, and knee-deep in people. I love it in there as there are young and old who simply enjoy listening/dancing to 80s music.

At one stage in the evening, while Mr Hansen was at the bar getting drinks, some young guy wandered over and told me I was "beautiful, for an older woman". I wanted to slap him!! OLDER WOMAN??? Having said that to me, he then told me that he'd quite like to f*** me. I laughed in his face... and then walked away!

Okay, so I was old enough to be his mother, but is it any small wonder I like older men?? I inspected my face in the mirror this morning, and decided that my laughter lines did NOT make me look old, and no, I'm not asking for Botox for Christmas... I am proud of every line/wrinkle!!

Love, hugs and kisses from ♥♥HH♥♥

Good for you!! The lines are there for a reason and make us part of who we are today, not what we looked like 15 years ago.

Glad you had a fun night besides the sill comment from the dumb arse young man.

Why couldn't he just have left it as 'I think you are a beautiful woman'? Maybe he and guys like him need that slap in the face to wake themselves up.

The great thing about getting old is I can use my zimmer frame to clear space on the dance floor and then get to grope the totty by feigning a heartattack.lol

Frangi... I did enjoy it, and I'm planning another night just like it soon.

im... if I see him next time I'm out I'll make sure he gets that slap on behalf of all women!

Amber... so that was YOU I saw tottering your way around the dance-floor... did that pretty young thing offer mouth-to-mouth then??

Al... gee, thanks hun. One small problem... I'm 38!!!

You should have not slapped him.. but punched him knock-out... That would have had given him something new to talk about... lol
