Once Again Telling Me I Told Me So....

I have very specific age preferences on guys that I'd normally date. Yes, I know they aren't listed, thats because I deleted that entire profile.
My age preference is 35-45, call me unfair in the upper age category but once burned, you know the rest.
I've only broken my own rule a couple of times, usually in the under 35 category, and with the exception of one guy, the other 1-2 just reaffirmed that I should have stuck with my age limit rule.
It's tough getting away from that southern upbringing, and even though I may not have been raised entirely in the south geographically, my mom was southern through and through so you may as well say that I was raised in the south except for location. You can take the girl out of the south but with my mom you were NEVER going to stop being raised as if you were still there.

~The foremost rule was the do unto others thing, that meant play nice and try not to hurt people.
~The second being learn how to flirt.
~Rule 3-100 I'll get to in later blogs.

So, in my attempt to avoid hurting people I've gone the tactful, round about way of saying "sorry but we are looking for different things in life", or "sorry I can't get past the age thing", or sorry.....
What I really should have said was, "you know, the sex wasn't all that great and if you'd be so kind as to stop stalking me I wouldn't even remember your name".
Then they get all huffy and pout when you again reiterate, sorry not looking for the same thing. Take a hint, the sex was NOT good, why would I ever want a replay of that?

I, too, have an age restriction. And, a couple of times I have broken it. Those times I have ALWAYS regretted going against my own "rules". This last time, though, really sealed the deal. NO MORE. NO MAS.

Some say age doesn't matter. But, to me it does. In my instances, maturity was lacking. I don't need games at this stage of life. There is enough in my age bracket for cripes sake.

Maybe it wasn't good for you... But they are happy enough to keep chasing!

Get some business cards printed out with that line on it:
"You know, the sex wasn't all that great and if you'd be so kind as to stop stalking me I wouldn't even remember your name". - I like that!
