A Bit of Nostalgia and Letting Go

Something happened last night, not sure exactly when but it hit me, something wonderful.
Long story short I'm letting go. There have been many things for awhile now that I kept hanging onto, maybe wishing for a different outcome or wishing for someday to hurry up and arrive that things or people would be what I wanted them to be.
Maybe this NEW thing happened at exactly the right time. HE called today, the guy I had been in love with heart and soul for 25 years. For the first time it didn't hurt, it was like talking to a good friend but without the pain that involved anymore. I'm not naive enough to think there won't always be feelings there, I know better but at least those feelings don't cause pain anymore.
Other things I'm letting go of also, other things and other people. It's really been bothering me until now, 20 years and because of situations you start all over from square one. I'm finally ok with that to.
I've often said that I had a guardian angel but one of her wings must have been broken for some time now, she showed up just when I thought I can't do this anymore, she showed up last night.

Your guardian angel just needed to refuel And now, she has....

You're gonna be ok. No. You're gonna be more than ok because you are an exceptional woman. Period.

I look forward to seeing your life become exactly as YOU want it - with all the pieces falling into place.

The road 'home' can take twists and turns - having the patience of a saint certainly helps.

It's all good

PS: I'm with Cleavis also - we all missed you Saturday!

I've read the first run of your posts, you are articulating thoughts that I am only able to scream about in melodramatic prose and alagorical fictional stories. It amazes me the effectiveness with wich you lucidly express some of the most basic ideas I have not been able to express at all. Added you to my watch blogs. read ya more later.
Thanks,
