Distracted

Well, I must admit I have been pretty distracted from the blog lately. I have had work like crazy and then there is this new personal project I am working on and it has taken some time away from this blog. But if I can get it going right, it will be lot of fun. If you want to know the project and are a blogger on this site, let me know, I will fill you in on it. It may take me a while to finish, so there is a chance that this blog will be unattended for a few days. But such is life.

Anyway, that project, work, love life, and health have all contributed to throw me a little of kilter. I seem to be in a bit of a haze and I am not sure I know how to get out of it, but I have a feeling time will cure it all. I am taking positive steps in all regards to get myself together again from this little whirl.

The interesting thing is none of it is really bad, but all of it is so time consuming. I have a list of things to do about half a mile long and it never seems to end. I have my personal website to attend to (hasn’t been updated in years and that is bothering me), my new web project I mentioned above, websites for two bars to get done, one online restaurant review site, a short story to finish editing and send off to the publishers, another one to start, finish and edit and then send of to the publishers, a lecture at UNLV to consider and present, time with my daughter, time with my friends, time for finances to get straight, time for my legal issue (the ex is being a bitch), time for health issues, and most importantly time for my lover. All of it is just so involved that it is a miracle I have time for anything.

I need a vacation… maybe I will take next weekend off and go for a drive.

Drives are always nice. Of course, I am interested in your project so definately keep me posted. I, too, have been quite in a whirlwind with my philosophy and legal courses, work at the shelter, getting daughter registered in college and directed and focused, getting the cell phone issue worked out with a new cell number, giving advice to my friend's son about his love interest, started a story of my own, spring cleaning, declaring war on scorpions, getting "psyched" about a new PT job that will begin next week in addition to my shelter job (need it to offset daughter not working while she is going to college), coordinating activities about a trip to Ecuador next Spring, trying to weigh out possibilities for a laptop computer with wifi and set up with a VPN to my home computer, geneological research that my Mom has asked me about since I am in Austin, searching for a cheap dutch door for the shelter, and sooooo much more. My head is spinning!!!!

Have fun on your drive next weekend....

TxRose

You really do need to get away even if its just for a little drive. It sounds like you have a lot going on in your life, even if it is all good......don't burn yourself out.
