What is up with the age thing?

Ok. I know this has been blogged before, but DAMN! Why do men fudge their actual age? I mean, come on! Be proud of it! Relish it! You should celebrate every day you made it to that age. Think of all the stuff you did when you were young, the really stupid things. Aren't you proud to have lived thru them?
Age is just a number. It's what's in your heart that really matters..
Geez! Come on guys. Wear your age proudly!

Hell I got no problem with my age as a matter of fact I'm still doing most of the stupid shit I did when I was younger, I've got a gaurdian angle that can ride just as fast as me.

Interesting, I always thought it was the women who fudge their age.
I always say that I'm glad I got to be around this long and look forward to another 51 years as I still have a lot of things I want to do. If I hadn't done the stupid things, I wouldn't have learned anything.
The next question is why do so many women want someone that isn't their age?

You know, I thought about fudging on my age because if you'd look at my photo you'd never know I was 52. I've had extremely limited responses from all the ladies I've emailed and I think it's because they're looking for some hot young studs. Well, what about us hot older studs? We're generally a lot more expeienced in pleasing you ladies and more comfortable with our lives now than the younger guys who are only interested in where the next piece of ass is coming from.

I don't act and I am told I don't look my age. It's what is inside you that counts and how you decide to live every day from this point on. I don't care how old I am it's who I am and how I live that matters.

Thank You harleychickadee for giving us older guys a boost. Coming from someone as lovely as yourself that is a real shot a the arm. We may not get there as fast as we used to , but we eventually get there. It's not the destination it's the journey. I am thankful that i have been able to take the journeys i have ,and hope i have many more left.

53 and proud of it...

I have also encountered MANY who shave yers off the age as listed in their profiles...do they think we cannot tell once we meet? Maybe they never intend to meet you at all?

I am simply not interested in someone I might have to explain the Beatles to.

HIYA B...call me I lost your phone number

Luv ya

Thanks, guess that's why I have no problem with my age. Actually turn 40 on valentines day, maybe it all starts to go downhill after that.

No problems with age... I am much better than I ever way... and that isn't just a rationaliation. Experience has its advantages as long as you keep the body in shape the best that you can.

There are at least as many women lying about their age on this site as men. Not to mention their weight or "body type" and or outdated photos from a by gone appearance.

I put my actual age on my profile and I usually mention it again in any e-mails that I send.. Most of the women that I've met are somewhat surprised when I tell them I'm 61... Bill in Asheville

we all go thru stages , i'm 43 proud of it , men just like women , i think ure mind develops , , i have the heart of 28 but the mind of probably 60 , i'm part indian so u can't blame me , in my life ive counted my true friends , one hand , in this day and time were all strong , i'm a survivor , its so easy too say friend and say love , if ure friend screws up do u care or walk on , ud be surprised easier too walk on than care , but whats differant , just think , were all given our god gifts to help too suffer too be the strong , when no one else can , question is if u build a friendship , what do u want and what sacrifices are worth it , i can ride dear ,
