Why?

Why do we put up with people who say they can help, then lie or fall flat on their face. Example: President Bush. Does anyone think he helped the residents of New Orleans? Does he believe the american public thinks he did enough to help these people, while he was at his ranch on an extended vacation. Does anyone really know the whole story here? Our nation is going so far into debt because we are in a war that shouldn't be. Reminds me of Viet Nam. I just don't trust politicians who I did not vote for. By the way, did he "win" the election, or steal it like he did several years ago when his brother Jeb made sure he got Floridas vote by persuading certain people to stay away from the polling places. Don't forget to count the hanging chads.
I'm an old soldier. It's not that I don't believe that we need to fight for freedom, but we are not fighting for Iraq's freedom, they want us out. We invaded their country to oust a dictator, because Bush's dad couldn't get the job done the first time the US military went there. When a war is called for, I support it. This is uncalled for and unwarented. Needless people are dieing everyday. For what? Because we have a stubborn old fool for a president. I'm babling on like a brook. Just give me freedom. I was willing to fight and die for it when I was in the ARMY. I just don't believe so many american citizens can be fooled by a fool.
