"But He knows the way I take; when He has tested me, I will come forth as gold. My feet have closely followed His steps; I have kept to His way without turning aside. I have not departed from the commands of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my daily bread." - Job 23:10-12

The story of Job is often a mystery to a lot of us. Job a righteous man was tested and tried to an extreme degree, and God allowed it. Often we as God's people suffer and we do not know why. We experience and go through afflictions that we cannot seem to understand, and satan seems to be wrecking havoc in our lives, and trying to trace the hand of God in any of it seems impossible. But it is God's hand nonetheless, and He over-rules everything!

No trial, struggle or test comes to us unless it is by His permission, and for some wise and loving purpose that this side of eternity we may never fully understand or comprehend. We also must remember that satan can only legally capture ground in our lives that we have yielded to him in some way. But her lies the divine secret of all of this. Just as a parent's love is too tender to inflict unnecessary doses of medicine or discipline, it is also too strong to spare the dose of medicine or discipline that is needed. Understand, that the Lord sees the symptoms of our disease, or our need for discipline long before we feel or notice the symptoms or discomfort ourselves. God as our loving Father, in his grace, love, forgiveness and tender mercy knows just when and how to apply the appropriate remedy to our hearts.

Lord, many times we do not understand why our lives may be going a certain way. We cannot seem to understand why the circumstances in our lives are stormy. Yet you are at work performing a deep work in our hearts. You know just what we need and when we need it. May we remember that You O Lord are in control, and this too shall pass, and your purpose and glory will be revealed. In Jesus Christ’s holy name I pray, amen.

Have A Wonderful Day! Just know He is with you wherever you may go.
