Giddy With Delight!

Despite the Fact that my favorite/only hair dresser has abandoned her post (at the worst possible time)

Despite the fact that my boobs have grown since my last interview so my dress shirts no longer fit (it's so freakish...they fit everywhere else except right across the chest!)

Despite the fact that the zipper on the skirt of my only suit first got stuck and then got broke forcing me to buy a whole new skirt(65$ fucking dollars!)

Despite the fact that AdultFriendFinder completely obliterated my profile. (I no longer exist!)

Despite the fact that my boss is once again acting like a complete dick (though this time to everyone)

Despite the fact that I am no longer going to LA to visit Mr. Punish

Despite the fact that my neighbors are pissed at me for having to turn off the water to the whole building for several hours in order to fix my leak

Despite the Fact that my interview is about a week away and I feel so ill prepared it scares me (no advice please!)

I am floating on air.

The Right is going down quicker than a wildebeest in quicksand. It all began when DeLay declared earlier this month that his hiatus as majority leader of the House would be a permanent situation. Then the Abramoff scandal hit and, like so many dominos, he is taking all his Republican buddies down with him, including, hopefully, that sanctimonious bastard (and not so innocent) Ralph Reed (former head of the “Christian” Coalition).

Even the Right’s golden boy John Roberts got his comeuppance, when his side lost in the Right to Die case out of Oregon. That’ll teach you to mess with people’s fundamental rights!

The good news is…Democrats are once again reclaiming their testicles. When Sen. Hillary Clinton feels free to publicly make such blatant (and so very true) comments as “this administration will go down in history as one of the worst that has ever governed our country," you know a storms a comin’!

I for one can’t wait. I seriously doubt that the Repubs will have enough time to get their act together in time for elections this November. It will probably even get worse for them (tee-hee!). How ever will they nab those annoying middle-of-the-roaders (who couldn’t make up their mind if you held a gun to their head) and keep their strangle hold on Congress.

Bush is probably wetting his Superman underoos

Let's hope the Democrats can take back the House in November, so they can start Impeachment proceedings against Bush early in 2007.

I'm sorry that your breasts growing caused your dress shirts not to fit, but growing breasts makes me think of Things to be Happy About.

Would love to join your glee, Frogger, but after livining in Europe for nearly a decade and watching their politics (which are very dirty), then living in Texas three years (where the politics are even dirtier then in Europe -- was there when Ann Richards was elected) I have become so politically apathetic that the best way to describe me is that my political give-a-shitter just doesn't work at all. ... Sorry.

Hope the good mood continues for it is good to see you feeling so upbeat.

If I read between the lines correctly, you told Mr Punish to go f*ck himself for being such a dickhead that he left you twisting in the wind. If so, good for you!

If not ... let's just pretend I didn't make a total ass of myself and move on quickly to more pleasant topics.

Speaking of which, about those blouses ... I'll be glad to help you do some aerobic exercises that, while they may not reduce your bust size, will help take your mind off your wardrobe. You can even talk with me about the evils of being so politically apathetic. ... After we do our exercises four or five times per night over a long weekend, of course. ...

Your hairdresser quit? Ugh. I can sympathize. My barber decided to retire. I have no idea how to tell anyone else how to cut my hair because he cut it for the last 25 years.

OK...other than your shirts not fitting, I fail to see how bigger boobs are a bad thing, but I'm a guy...

I hate zippers that stick. I had to fight with the uniform shop for a month before all the zippers on my uniform pants all worked.

Good news! Your profile isn't gone. I just looked at it. I think they were doing maintenance on the system.

Your current boss just sounds like a real piece of work. Maybe when you leave, others will follow suit and leave the bastard in a lurch.

I know you were anticipating seeing Mr. Punish, but with his demands, I just can't see it as a bad thing myself.

Well, it's not like you can fix a water leak with water in the pipes.

Just relax about the interview and do what you have to (Sorry...that was advice).

Good to hear that all the Repubs are getting hammered. They need it, and America needs a wake-up call.
I just hope that when the Dems back in power, they don't swing too far to the Left. I think Far Left is as bad as Far Right. Extremism isn't the way to go. Compromise is one of the foundations of our nation.

As much as I like you, Frogger, the rabid leftist Dems are thankfully in as hot, or hotter water.
I'm a Libertarian who doesn't like the intrusions on our lives by EITHER party....
The Abramoff scandal includes quite a few Dems too, like Minority Leader Harry Reid... But the leftist mainstream media won't tell you that! And Teddy Kennedy got Abramoff money from Indian Tribes seeking casino licences, but is refusing to return it (as the Bush Admin did) becuase he says he's "proud to be a friend to the Native Americans" Hypocrite!!!
I believe in the "right to die"... I'd rather off myself than waste away in pain over the years... but what they were ruling on was whether the Feds had the right to regulate the drug the doctors were prescribing... and the minority opinion was actually right - they do... It's just that they SHOULDN'T.
The Radical, Teddy Kopechne Kennedy / Hillary Rodham Left are far more hypocritical and dangerous than Bush could ever be...
Kennedy screamed about Judge Alito's long-ago membership in a now-defunct group at Princeton that was supposedly anti-women and anti-black when the editor of the newsletter was a WOMAN, Laura Ingrahm, who was succeeded by a black man....
In the meantime, Teddy is STILL a member of the same type of group at Harvard, and still contributes to them! $100 last year...
Libs are also screaming "Investigation", "Impeachment" over the NSA eavesdropping on KNOWN AL QUEDA MEMBERS, while Clinton's Echelon program eavesdropped without warrants on millions of AMERICANS' e-mails, conversations, and even snail mail... After McVey did Oklahoma City, Clinton authorized tens of thousands of WARRANTLESS searches, both electronic AND PHYSICAL of suspected skinhead & white-supremecist groups... And his Assistant District Attorney, Jamie Gorelick DEFENDED them, saying the president has inherent authority to do so.... Yes, the same Jamie Gorelick who sat on the 9/11 Commission, and is responsible for initiating the "wall" between intelligence agencies that contributed to 9/11.

The stupid, far-Rightists want to be able to regulate our morality (which they never will)
But the rabid, far Leftists want to regulate EVERYTHING... Our incomes, whether we can smoke, drive SUV's, eat hamburgers, eat ANY kind of meat, whether parents can raise their own children. They don't want to allow energy independence by building nuclear plants (but their heroes, the French get 70% of their power from nuclear), they just want us to "use less", "conserve" while the population grows exponentially due to illegal immigration that they won't control...

So, be careful whom you support!!!

They're all just a bunch of crooked politicians... Just the Liberals have their willing accomplices in the media to cover their asses...

Hate to disagree when it's the thing keeping you floating, but I doubt Bush cares quite frankly. He's got more important things to worry about than lousy partisan politics.

As to the Repubs going down in flames, they're not going anywhere. Nobody cares about Tom Delay and most of America hates Hillary Clinton. (Hell, most people don't even know who Tom Delay is.) Maybe if the Democrats did something other than whine needlessly, people would be more inclined to vote for them...or if you take Ted Kennedy and Howard Dean out back and shoot them...either way. I hate Hillary, but I'd vote for her if she had the cajones to shoot Ted Kennedy's fat ass.

And man, did Al Gore get fat. I laughed watching him since he's accusing the President of breaking the law, when his superior not only broke the law, but did it on national TV.

Ahh politics...

Hi Frogger,
I just have to say this. We are finally getting to see some of your face. Your last few blogs have been giving us a peek. I know based on the last few blogs of seeing parts of the puzzle, that you are looking GOOD, you foxy lady you.(Foxy Lady means you ARE looking good!)----The water thing at home, I bet it wasn't the first time for the building, and it won't be the last. It's happened where I live quite a few times and I do expect it will again. Somethings we just have to live with once in a while.----No advice on the interview, you WILL BE prepared, and YOU WILL knock them over with it!----Politics? Well, we just have to be upset with how some of the people we intrust to serve us end up as big disappointments. Doesn't seem to have a boundary, we find the sleazeballs as Democrats, Republicans, GDI's, Liberals, conservatives, middle of the roaders. For some reason, these damn people just can't resist the temptation to be corrupt, weak, misguided or whatever you want to call it. And they think they are above the rest of us! Ha!----You know I especially like your "Happy About Things" this time. Yeah, I still eat Peanut Butter with my fingers too, mmmmmm!----Hope the cold is gone and you are feeling better.-----Luv Ya.

Welcome to the Left obedience school.

Lesson Plan

1. You must blame all the problems in your life on something or someone else, or just degrade your country if you draw a blank.

ex. Display your hatred for Walmart. Halliburton is evil too.
ex. Explain how your life was Heaven on earth until the exact moment that Bush was sworn into office.
ex. Condemn your fellow citizens and your nation by referring to them and it as an evil occupier that is terrorizing the planet with uncontrollable robbing and pilfering.

2. You must love and hate life at the same time.

ex. Hold a candle for the next mass murderer to be on death row. Do not ever make yourself aware of the victims names or the nature of their demise. Note: Only show your disgust at the injustice if it is a minority. An Anglo probably deserves it.

ex. be upset that there are too many kids running around and conclude that there must not be enough abortion clinics.

3. Display your desire for harmony while constanly dividing the
populace through racial warfare.

ex. Demand that New Orleans be a 'Chocolate' city.

That is a good point to stop.

Next week: We will protest our involvement in WWII.

Week after: We will protest our involvement in Korea.

Week after: We wil protest the fact that we have been protesting too much.

Peanut butter....hmmmm depends who's finger's it's on of course.
I'm with Maverick19605 on most of his points.

Over here in the UK I used to care about politics when we had the hateful Mrs Thatcher then the forgetable John Major. Our Prime Minster Tony Blair rather took the shine off it. He made me realise that who ever is in power the bad stuff will still happen, the loss of companies like MG Rover for example. The general public can make a country work or fail, political leaders are just there to kiss butt with other world leaders.

That said, your passion for politics is refreshing.

Don't ever give up searching for the fun in life.

FEAR! Right now that's the only weapon the Republicans have and will use it.

Still if the swing has started, that's good. Up here, in good ol leftist Canada, it looks like a right wing party, that's pro war, anti women, proprivitization at any cost to the public weal, no matter how they've dressed up the party, is going to get elected.

True, the ruling party does need some time in opposition for renewal, but at what cost.

On positive note I've found a nice shack up north that mostly keeps out the cold during winter - I think I'll hibernate until it's safe to come out again.

Frogger, I wish I shared your glee. However, Americans memories are very short. Let me give you an example. I was a firefighter/paramedic during the time of 9/11. The following few months the communities all across the nation were showing thier support for us and cops. People were coming out to the firehouse just to say hello. When we needed to get to an emergency people moved over to the left and got out of the way. Today it's the same as pre 9/11. Try to get a referrendum passed to support your departments needs and it will likely get voted down. And sadly few get out of the way when we need to get somewhere.

My point is that I hope this scandel is so huge that it burns so hot that we can overtake congress in 2006. But I think the timing is wrong.

Oh, I'm sure the media has a liberal bias. No question there. Just think that nobody's buying what they're selling. And, for that bunch, for the most part they make it soo much more obvious than the Republicans.

Clinton: Lied on national TV. And got caught. Repeatedly.
Gore: Just a mouthpiece for Clinton.
Hillary: Moved to a state and got elected Senator about 5 minutes after she got there.
Dean: Doesn't it strike you a tad odd that a guy the entire Democratic party scorned for the Presidential nomination because of his ranting suddenly wound up at the head of the party again?
Kennedy: Well..if that one needs explaining...

I never question anyone's political beliefs because I have come to realize that everybody has their own view of things and yes I am an NRA member but I will never try to push my views onto anyone, I'll just give you my opinion and will receive your opinion and leav it at that. texascanadian05: Ooooooooh! Cat fight!

Akadafa: Focus....focus!

zoopc42: That is the main reason I hate him...PLEASE don't associate all of us with that man!

jakblack36: Unfortunately memories are short...hence Bush's re-election. I've always found that people have an overall good opinion of firemen and paramedics. Not getting out of the way seems particularly socially degenerative. While I may not stop in to say hi (too much stimulation!) I have always supported emergency workers.

Bush: Lied on national TV. And got caught. Repeatedly.
Bush: Just a mouthpiece for Cheney.
Bush: Used Daddy's connections and Rove's evil genius to get elected.
Bush: Doesn't it strike you a tad odd that a guy the entire World hates (including a terrifcally huge portion of his own country) wound up at the head of the country again?

Frogger - sorry about the length of this Post... I hope you're well...
I don't know if you're still watching this thread, but thank you for at least having the intellectual honesty to investigate.
I'm wary of ANY politician who says he/she has just come down from the mountaintop with the Tablets... And they all do.
The problem is the ideological partisanship on both sides... They all accuse "the other side" of the same exact things they are doing themselves.
Teddy Kennedy is fun because he's the most prominant example of this, and he doesn't even allow himself to see it.
There's only two reasons I tend to side with Conservatives:
1) I am a big anti-government guy... Less is more for me. the less they invade my "space" the more I like it, and Conservatives (in THEORY, although not always in practice) tend towards that.
2) In my 57 years of real-life experience, I've consistently found that the most intolerant thing is a Liberal preaching tolerance. In practice, the only tolerance they accept is tolerance for their own sacred cows - the rest of the world be damned...

You "youngsters" don't remember how really BAD things were under Lib heroes like Carter... The press even invented a term to describe how bad things were... The "Misery Index"... When unemployment was 15%, interest rates 21%, inflation 11%, taxes 70%, gas lines for MILES, gas stations out of gas for weeks, you could only GET gas on "Odd or Even Days" depending on your license plate #... NY was BANKRUPT... Michael Milliken had to bail out the City by selling Junk Bonds...
Every time a Liberal gets in charge of my life, I cringe!!!!!!

As far as Bush 43 goes, I don't think he's a "great" President... maybe not even a "good" one, but he was the right guy in the right place at the right time... Neither Gore nor Kerry would've done the pro-active things he has to keep our enemies off our shores. I lived in Houston over 23 years and, while I never met "W", I did meet his father, mother, and a few other relatives at the G8 Summit they had at the University of Houston while "41" was in office. "W" is definitely NOT an intellectual, nor is he the sharpest knife in the drawer. In my view, he has screwed up a lot of things by listening to the wrong people... (now for the big "BUT") BUT! In spite of what the media wants you to believe, "W" has got this Country running quite nicely... Unemployment is at the lowest levels in almost 60 years, inflation doesn't exist, interest rates are still at strangely low levels (Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac have just lowered mortgage rates AGAIN), the deficit is numerically huge, but still less than 3% of GDP - about the same as Clinton's, the economy is growing at record levels - almost 4% per quarter, etc., etc.. The only screw up is oil/gas... and that's because we haven't built a new refinery in over 30 years, and Clinton took the world's largest reserve of pollution-free, low sulphur coal (in Utah's "Escelante Stairsteps") off the market as payoff to the Riady's.
Thanks for allowing me this post.

Likes like the Repubs might not go without a fight, but elections this year should be more interesting than they would have been. Here's to hoping more right side corruption finds its way to daylight just in time for election day!
