Breathe Rite strip anyone????

First let me say I adore my hubby to death. He is funny, caring, unselfish and well...he loves ME!

BUT....

He is killing me with his snoring. He sounds like a broken chainsaw. While he slumbers away next to me in the bed I am sitting there with blood-shot eyes and trembling. I know, you all will say go sleep on the couch.

I HAVE! It has got to be the most uncomfortable damned thing put into one house. I would rather take my chances with "Smokey the Bear" upstairs.

I have tried many things to detour the snoring...like rolling him over onto his side, waking him up...HELL, I have even flicked him in the nose to get him to stop.

NOTHING WORKS!

I take sleeping pills to help me sleep but now I am just getting a really nasty high cause I do not get to sleep. Try taking those things and staying awake...it is like pulling the hair out of your nose....IT HURTS!

I have asked him to please see a doctor for it but he is too scared to do it. Well, he better start getting scared of me and worry about the doctor later!

I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Note: sorry to ramble, but any suggestions next to smothering him with a pillow, will be highly appreciated

Note: #2

Q: Why do men snore when they lie on their backs?
A: Because their balls fall over their asshole and they vapor lock.

Note #3

A woman is escorted into the courtroom on charges of murdering her husband.
Prosecution: How was your husband-killed ma'am'?
Woman: He was suffocated with a pillow.
Prosecution: Were you the person who suffocated your husband with the pillow?
Woman: Yes, yes I did.
Prosecution: But why ma'am, why would you kill your own husband?
Woman: The snoring was horrible, you try sleeping next to him.

Note: #4
Why do black widow spiders kill their males after mating?
- To stop the snoring before it starts.

NOW SEE.....I NEED HELP

Fortunately I don't snore and never have (!) but I understand it can be a bit of a problem.

The easiest solution is to become nocturnal.

Other than that, maybe the pillow solution is the one with the highest likely success rate

And thanks for the black widow jobbie - I'll remember that!

Free... Mr Hansen was a terrible snorer until recently. My cure? He lost 42lbs, and suddenly I don't feel like I'm sharing the bed with a lumberjack in the middle of a forest!!!

Obviously this isn't going to help you much if your husband isn't overweight. I can bring some Olbas Oil to the meet for you, if you like. I sent EE some and I know it helped with her breathing problems (albeit for cold reasons)!

Hx

Geez, Louise, if I were the jury foreman on your trial for smothering hubby with pillow, you'd be set free.

Seriously, 'tho', sleep apnea is common and very treatable, according to what I've gathered. There are new medicines..even those little nasal strips may help. Not to be too sexist, but I find most men have this in common: they don't admit they snore...at least not until they hear the playback...and they don't care to visit the doctor. But visit he must.

Smooches and sleep to you,

He does NEED to see a doctor... there are things they can do to take care of this problem....

It is also not good for him either!!

Make an appointment for him and simply tell him it is not optional... go with him or what ever it takes....

You BOTH need help!
