What we have here is a failure to communicate

It seems last night that my post was taken in the wrong light. I also feel that some of you may have taken what I said in poor taste. My intention was never to offend anyone.

I also didn't feel I was making the statement that anyone should feel the obligation to post simply because they have read my scribblings. I was simply wondering why a specific person was reading it. I am certainly not ungrateful for all the people who do read. In fact to me its a surprise that anyone reads my writing at all. Perhaps like so many have said I shouldn't have let it get to me.

If I did offend I do apologise.

Hey Flagg, you didn't offend. And you are not the only blogger who has asked about "lurkers." I am going to check to see if I have lurkers. I have never noticed.

You didn't offend me son.
I don't think you offended anyone with your post.
Most of the folks who visit are old hands at the adlines and blogs so it takes a lot to offend them. Well that or a good blonde joke. lol

Enjoy reading your posts.
Keep em coming.

No offense taken from me. You and Phoe are my faves! I wish you would have been around when I was 20 years younger.

Header: Thanks I didn't think that you took offense at all though. I am certain that a few others did on top of some that maybe didn't comment.

Frnds4play: I'm not one of the in crowd either. Nor do I want to really be in that distinction. I do like my group of friends though alot. There is a lot of quality in the people who read and comment here regularly. I am guilty of the same I don't usually comment on the very popular blogs as I don't wish to trouble them or get lost in the crowd.

LS: I am still not sleeping so that could be it. However, actually I am pretty sure I got under a few peoples skin last night. Likely some who didn't respond to it of course there were those that did as well who were not amused. I can also see where it could be percieved as an ungrateful post. Thanks for reading I do try to keep it interesting.

Krissy: I'm not one to let my own mistakes slide. Also I tend to be harsher on myself than I am on anyone else. I'd rather not offend someone just to get people to speak up. I really don't like forcing that on anyone.

Rooster: I suppose that is true and I don't think I have offended anyone off the AL crew. Putting up a blonde joke though what were you thinking. LOL

Posts will come if I can ever think of something interesting to spout on about.

THAT WAS ME! I am the one who’s been lurking in the shadows of your blog all these years, admiring you from afar, hoping, wishing, and praying that maybe someday you’d notice me! I would have written something on your blogs, Flagg, truly I would have, but my penmanship is terrible and embarrasses me to no end.

But, Flagg, how could you? How could you say such thing about me you big fat jerk! I’ve been watching you with adoring eyes but in addition to my poor penmanship, I am shy and until today, was too shy to leave the safety of visitor’s row. I KNOW that blog entry was directed at me—it was, wasn’t it? You could have emailed me, but nooooooooo, you had to out me here in front of everybody in blogland.

The only way you can salvage my honor is to marry me. Is there a minister in the house? Who wants to be my maid of honor? My matron of honor? My personal attendants (I need a lot of work, so I’ll need several!) Whatdaya say, baby? It’s all out in the open now!

Send me your credit card, honey, and I’ll buy the ring myself, after all, Borsheim’s is right here. If it was good enough for Bill Gates and his bride, it’s good enough for me. Love ya, hun!

Mari: Just thought I was a mite bit ungrateful there is all.

SW3: Damn girl no need to have an Oprah moment. I'm glad you finally decided to step out of the shadows.

Now about the marriage when do we get you fitted for the dress. Who are we gonna hire for entertainment. I need a best man As well this is to much to think about.

That wasn't an Oprah moment, dear! That was an entire Maury Povich show. Wait until the sequel: "Flagg! You ARE/ARE NOT the Father!"

P.S. (The whole point of my zany post is that you didn't offend anybody! I just took a round-about-way of making my point. Plus, maybe I had been drinking some bad bootleg!)
