A Scary Night

Last night was ROUGH! And no, not from sex. Mr. Fire and I went to our bedroom around 11:30 to go to bed. As soon as I got comfy, my youngest started to cry. So every 10 minutes I would have to get up and find his pacifier to put him back to sleep. After an hour of this it sounded as if he went back to sleep. I closed my eyes and five minutes later he cried very loudly. I jumped up, mind you I was very groggy, and saw a shadowy figure at the foot of my bed. I said "HOLY SHIT!" which made Mr. Fire jump out of bed. Then we realized it was our daughter. Our daughter is as quiet as a mouse when she sneaks out of her room at night. She will creep up to our room and hide under our bed and sleep there until morning. We usually have no idea that she comes into our room because she is so quiet. This is the first time that she has sat at the foot of our bed and was watching us sleep.

It was cute that she was just sitting there, but between the scare and the baby crying I did not get to sleep until 3 am. I had to wake at 7 am to get my son ready for school.

I am sooooooooooooooo tired right now. Please wish me luck tonight.

Fire, this brought back memories for me. My youngest son use to drag a blanket into my room during night and sleep next to my bed on the floor. I learned of this when one morning...I got out of bed and stepped on him...!!!! Good luck sweetie. Try to get some rest today.
