Just A Question

In the group I belong to FTLS "Folks that love sex" there is a thread that askes the question what did you wanna be when you were younger? What was it you wanted to be when you grew up? Did you become what you wanted? Why or why not?

There have been many interesting responces so I thought I would ask the same thing of my blogger friends.

So What did you wanna be when you grew up? Did you achieve that goal or did you end up doing something else?

I will be turning 37 in August. All my life I really never knew what I wanted to be. I still don't. Guess that makes me a bit of a lost soul.

I always wanted to be a mother and stay at home wife. I had that for several years and then it hit me. I want to be a nurse. So at 27 I went to college and got my degree. With my kids and hubby I became the person, the nurse, I am today. This year was my 12th anniversary for nursing. My specialty is Neonatal Intensive Care and I love my profession.
So to answer your question, yes I did and I got it 2 times.

I wanted to be a teacher, a mother, and a nurse.

I was the first child in my family to graduate from college. I taught for ten years and then became discouraged and retired.

I was a stay-at-home mother to both of my children until they entered kindergarten.

I went back to college and earned my CNA (Certified Nurse's Assistant) and now work for a home health care agency. I have plans to go back to college, yet again, and either become a LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) or an X-ray technician.

Djeeper: Not a lost soul just undecided....lol...maybe a professional exibisionist.

Piney: That's cool that you were able to become everything you have wanted to be so far. You must be one determined lady.

Shaye: Hey a novel is a novel...who cares if it's published or not. And parents have the hardest yet best job in the world.

Buttery: Wow a busy woman you are. You and I must be similar in some respects because I to ended up going for my CNA and worked for both a nursing home and did a little home health care on the side. I also wanted to continue my education and become a trauma Doctor until I hurt my back and can't work anymore. Did some substitute teaching until the doctors made me stop doing that also. Only thing I haven't done is be a MOM.

Thank you all for answering so far.
