Words without a poem

Alive like gray smoke moving,
gaining entry whenever,
where ever she chooses.

As a scented vapor,
she comes,
potent enough to make
vanilla beans bemoan
their existence as beans;
wishing instead to be coffee,
better for ones' palate,
I suppose.

Hung there, a flavored pink,
your love holds me between
passion's wet steamy heat,
howling at the moon during the
predictable constancy
of hours past midnight,
moments that test my
immutable desire for you;
while standing against time,
permanence, humbled as a
mere man, a dreamer in the guise of poet.

Coloured blue, time catches fire, then
cooled by distance,
my voice made hoarse,
small across a vastness of space.
Seduction is the suspense of forms,
your love takes.

It's delicacy no random accident.
My easy, slow,
steady fall into your grace
like down's mist on the lake shore,
where faith grows;
as two minds grasp for reality,
under passion's spell.~
