next day: not much more jet-lag left

Got up early, had a wolf's breakfast (do wolfs breakfast at all??), checked my mail and AdultFriendFinder....what do you know! Somebody actually READ my stuff! Greetings, sweet lady!
Started to work immediately, got along well, finished earlier than expected, which gave me some time to stroll around on my beloved Piazza Navone. Realised that that's the fountain right there in the center where in Dan Brown's "Angels and Demons" the bad guy kills his fourth victim, and nearly does same to good guy. Looked quite peaceful today, though. Nobody shooting his gun at anybody. Will have to check Castel Sant' Angelo where that story ends and good guy sends bad guy into orbit. Had to be that way, good guy still needed for the "Da Vinci Code".
Had a divine pizza for lunch, bought a bottle of Barolo Classico to take along to tonight's date. Went back and bought a second one. These people here drink vino rosso like Americans drink water. Or martinis, for that matter.
Meeting again scheduled for 4 p.m. People here seem to work from 9:30 to 11:30 and from 4 to 6, the hard working part, that is. Add an hour or so for top managment. Fucking the secretary takes time, too, after all. Which reminds me: hope that keen sec will be on duty again this afternoon. Should buy her a gift. That one look she gave me seemed promising.
If that bugger Antonio S. takes a nap again today, I'll kick his shin-bone. Maybe I can tear a hole in his trousers. Bastard.
So long, sweet diary. More later.
