Water and Ice

I drink a lot of water. In Arizona you have to. If you are used to drinking a lot of soda, and come to AZ, you will be surprised if you continue your old ways. Keeping hydrated is very important.

My boyfriend was working on a side job the other day, I had made him a gallon of iced tea. I had also put a lot of water in his cooler for him. He drank it all, and still almost suffered from heat exhaustion. He was soaking wet by the time he got to my house.

It gets hot here and staying hydrated is very important. Too many people suffer from heat stroke working in this AZ heat.

When I buy water from the store or a gas station, I buy Dasani water, it's my favorite. I buy filtered water for the water cooler. I refill my bottles with there.

Today while I was at work, I drank too much soda and was feeling a bit dehydrated. I bought a bottle of Dasani and left it in the car when I got home. Later when I picked my daughter up from the pool I remembered to bring the bottle of dasani in. It was hot from being in my car, so I placed it and another bottle in the freezer. I slept most of the afternoon. Then my boyfriend came over and we slept more.

About 8 : 30 pm my daughter(2) woke me up and asked me what was for dinner. I just happened to have made three huge pans of chicken enchiladas the other day for the boys who were going to clean my yard, but never came over. So, I have mucho pans of enchiladas that will be served for dinner until we are all sick of them. I got out of bed, barely disturbing my boyfriend as I got up. That was nearly two hours ago and he is still sleeping, poor baby is tired.

After heating up some enchiladas and serving them up I started reading blogs. My daughter(1) asked who froze the bottles of water and asked if she could have one. I told her she could have one and to bring me the other one. I slapped it against my hand to break up the ice. I love slushy ice. I opened the lid and sucked some ice out. There was a solid portion of ice at the opening of the bottle and I tried to suck it out of there. It was not going anywhere, but suddenly, I heard it scream like it was about ready to blow. I kept my mouth on it so it would not explode all over my house or laptop. Finally, it broke. * POP * The ice exploded in my mouth. It was crazy. All the times I have froze bottles of water, or soda, or whatever, that has never happened to me. It was great!

Stay hydrated girl. WE can't afford to lose you.
I loved the heat in TX. 104 and 89 at night ... hot tub weather and then some. But I guess FL will do too... just a wetter kind of heat.

hummm... extended huggies this time, it's too warm in here

My boyfriend loves the heat. He does not have AC in his car. He's nuts. Ohio had a wetter heat too. I do prefer a dry heat. At least with a dry heat, it's a huge temp change in the shade. And then when you add a slight breeze to it, it's not half bad.

I used to make hot cocco from having water sit in the sun.

I would trade the low temp, high humidity heat for the high temp, low humidity heat any day.
