Facial Burn

I’m bored. There’s no football. It’s Sunday. There’s no football. It’s raining. There’s no football. I have no idea what to do with myself. There’s no football. Usually, when I’m bored, I throw in some porn and see what pops up. But I’m not in the mood for that. In short ‒ THERE’S NO FOOTBALL… Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!

(The first post-NFL Sunday always sucks!)

Anyway, I have a question. I am a very manly man. ...(a moment for you to stop laughing)… Being so manly, I tend to grow facial hair fairly quickly. Since I have nothing to speak of blooming on top of my head, I can not experiment with new hairstyles there. But, the face is another matter. I used to go strictly with a goatee. But over the past couple of years, I’ve been altering my look. I’ve done the fu-Manchu, I’ve done the full beard. I’ve done the “soul patch.” I even grew a long tail from the bottom of my chin, while keeping the rest shaven clean.

Since my beard brows so quickly, I tend to have at least some stubble at all times, unless I shave more than once per day. I know this can cause a facial burn when kissing passionately. Some of my past girlfriends didn’t mind at all, or at least never admitted to it. One, however, asked that I keep as cleanly shaven as possible to spare her the redness. And, if I were to be meeting with someone “discreetly,” I suppose the redness would be a bad thing to take home with her.

My question(s): How irritating is it to kiss a guy with a stubbly beard? What is your position on facial hair in general? Would you request your guy to shave for you?

I really enjoy kissing, but would hate for it to be an irritant to my partner ‒ should I ever have another one.

Told ya, I was bored!

I can relate with the stubble thing. My facial hair grows pretty quick. It leaves the the head, goes to the face. I often experiment with new styles. I even have created a few, one I've had for a long time looks almost like a beard, but the middle is gone, and there is no moustache. There's a somewhat thin line starting at the side burns, going along the jawline, and curving up at the chin. Girls liked it coz it was so wild. One cutie said, "Gives me a place to sit." LOL I have since added a moustache to it.

I agree. Sometimes, girls don't like stubble. I was visiting my friend who works at a smoke shop, and one of her regular customers damn near dove over the counter and planted a kiss on her breast, much to the shock of the other customers standing by. I missed it, coz I was looking at Zippos. She got razor burn on her chest, and it showed. It went away in time. But I saw the dude. Thick moustache, and doing his best to avoid razors.

I'd probably go back to what I had before.

Come into my realm! You aren't afraid...are you?

Oh, I guess I'll answer this one, too.

1. I don't mind the "George Michael" looking stubble stuff. I, in particular, enjoy feeling it rubbed against the sides of my neck. LOVE IT. LOVE IT. LOVE IT. LOVE IT. LOVE IT. LOVE IT. LOVE IT.

2. I absolutely detest that long, chin hair thing. Yuck!! Yuck!! Yuck!!

3. I don't mind goatees either.

I think, as long as it's not too scroungy (sp?) looking, dirty and kept neat and trimmed, you're good to go.

Did I mention how much I love my neck to be rubbed with facial hair?!

NickRules999 - "Leaves the head and goes to the face." Too funny! It is cool to experiment with new looks. After all, if it looks awful, we can shave it and have it grow into something new in a couple of days. I know you're a wrestling fan, as am I. I always marveled at Chris Jericho. He could be clean shaven one week, then have some ultra-full facial growth by the next Monday night RAW. BTW, Fozzy Rocks!

Mzhoney, Sweetneeds and SRB I am so glad to see that all of you like the facial growth!!! Shaving can be a real drag. One of the many reasons that I like my current job is because I can come to work looking any way I want. I'm free to experiment and leave the razor tucked away.

Of course, there is a catch 22. Most folks seem to appreciate a well-groomed beard. But, the longer the beard, the softer it feels. However, to grow it longer means I lose that manicured look. Stubble or unkempt? What's a guy to do?

Thanks for your input, it really does matter to me.

BTW, SRB I prefer the "Don Johnson" reference over "George Michael" Hmmm, or do I??? LOL!!

The scratchier the better. Oh my God! I love a five o'clock shadow. It is such a turn on during kissing. I love the feeling of stubbley facial hair on my lips, against my neck, against my breasts, and between my legs!

I love beards, goatees, anything furry on a face.

Smooth faces are a turn on as well, but my choice would be DON'T SHAVE today! If you shave in the morning and could use another shave before we went out in the evening, DON'T

Gods, now I am horny, again. Wait, I am always horny... I am hornier, again. Wait, I am always hornier... Damnit just fuck me!

You people are hot shit!

Candy - Glad to know that the stubbly look is OK with you. I was thinking about shaving tomorrow, but scratch that!!

Dusty - Damn, girl! I just got out of a hot shower. After reading your reply, I've gotta go catch a cold one now! Just point me to a spot, and I'll be more than happy to apply my stubble anywhere you'd like!

KPB - LMAO!!! PLEASE don't feel the need to experiment with anything on my account!!

I like a soft beard..not real crazy about stubbly/coarse whiskers...my skin is somewhat sensitive...and a whisker rash isn't fun. I do like the "look" of it ...but the feel of I don't care much for....unless it's long enough to be soft...not stubbly.

~~~ Just me, poppin to say HI! ~~
I like some stubble, I think it's street edge sexy! As far as it being irritating, I think it mostly depends on how soft/course your hair is. If its an 8-10 on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the most course, it hurts like hell!
SRBIt's not a matter of which of the two is more attractive - at least for me. It's more about which of the two brings up the worst image. Offering bj's in a public restroom is a bit more unsettling than anything Don Johnson has done. (To my knowledge) Also, there's the fact that I detested Wham and everything Wham-like.
slidein, KieraThanks for the input! Now I've got to work on that perfect balance - not too shaggy, not too stubbly!
Damn, if I can't get near your inner thighs, Purrykitty - then what's the point? LOL!!!!
I'll make sure to stay stubbly... just in case.
mmm.... stubble... love it... it's manly, and sexy as all hell! I love the way a goatee looks and... um... maybe TMI, but a guy with a goatee can go down on me anytime!
I've got the goatee if you've got the "anytime!"
Doc, So I was reading your blog in it's entirety today (boy do we have a lot to talk about) and I just caught your reply here. LOL... I've got the anytime babe, you bring the goatee, throw on some Lost/invasion episodes and let's have a party Though they'd have to be Lost repeats because well if it was a new one, then I'd have to have my full attention aimed at the show, and that wouldn't be fair... unless you accept the challenge of distracting me...
