Why must people be jealous?

My mother was such a jealous person she made everyone around her's life hell. My dad could not go home 5 min late and she would be sure that he was having an affair. His poor secretary's life was hell. She kept on phoning dad and if his secretary told her he was busy she would start shouting at her and telling her that she knew that she was having sex with dad.

I promised myself that I would never be like that and I am not. Life is never fair is it? I married a man that is very jealous. He never even wanted me to talk to another man. Even coming into my work and seeing me talking to a male client would upset him.

I solved this problem by always been 100% honest with him so that he would not have any reason to be jealous. I am now starting to think that maybe it is kinder to tell a lie than to tell the truth.

A few weeks ago we went to a party. I met a guy who enjoyed my sense of humor, we had lots of fun together. I told my hubby I cam very close to having sex with that man. Now he is moaping around the house "You nearly had sex with another man, you nearly had sex with another man!" Shit for all the flack I am taking it should have been
"You had Sex with another man"!!!!!!!!

I am not sexist, but men seem to have perfected the art of telling a lie. Maybe that is something I should learn. I have caught him out many times. I know he has gone skinny dipping with another lady and so on and on. Great for him, why not have some fun!

You deprive yourself of so much fun just because you do not want to hurt someone special in your life. Do they always have to know everything that you think and feel?
